Safety concerns regarding rear mounted turbos?

Gas Tanks don't explode if they catch fire, they flame up long before there is.any chance of an explosion. So its no worse then a front mounted turbo with the

Gas Tanks don't explode if they catch fire, they flame up long before there is.any chance of an explosion. So its no worse then a front mounted turbo with the fuel lines breaking and catching fire in the engine bay.
