Valet mode working?
I'm confused. What do you mean by 'working'? Does the care run cleanly, and start easily? (No boost, just smooth.)

If this is so, then yes, your existing tune is corrupted.

This is a good start, and you will have to spend time going slowly to learn the installation procedure and reflash.

And I am not 100% convinced that's the problem, but if the valet diagnostic revealed this, it's a smart start.
