Really nice clean job, I think I'll stick with the brain since your setup seems like there is a lot of work involved in it lol

I'd better stick with the touch brain, from what you have read about it and according to your expertise and experience what do you feel about it, since I have not seen any one on the forum use it

I've never seen or used one either. I am sure it does what it is advertised. That's the way the old VIT was. Which btw u can probably still get. Ask Sam@GTM.

From what I understand the OEM sensors are widebands, but not to the same tolerances as an aftermarket wideband. The OEM widebands do not read accurate below 12:1 on the a/f scale. This makes sense because an N/A car should never run richer than that.

The donor car I just built the ST kit for has a significant discrepancy between the LC-1 and the OEM O2 sensors. I would never rely on the OEM sensors for tuning a turbo/supercharged Z. This was confirmed by one of the most respected pro tuners in this Z community over the phone a couple of weeks ago.

Yeh actually I just read something similar to what you have just stated, above the oem will read af but to a certain extent then becomes less accurate after that

Correct. Hence why I have an mtx-l as well.

Ok so it makes so much sense now, the car will be able to read af but if I want a more accurate reading better spring for the af box and cable

To give you an idea of how inaccurate the factory ones are, my factory sensors will read 10 flat and my innovative will read 11.2-.4

This is what I run

All 3 gauges pull info right from the ECU through the OBD2 port, with the option to hook up external sensors such as boost, and afr. As I said, I run the LC-1 from innovative because it has a 5v output and has the option to work directly with Uprev which was a huge feature for me. If the blitz unit accepts 5v signals for sensors, I would recommend this unit.

oh cool thanx man, was thinking actually to mount gauges the same way you did, just curious though how hard was it to switch out the oem gauges to the ones that you have right now?

It's not hard, but a bit scary. I did it this way

DIY: Triple Gauge Cluster

So you have to be comfortable knowing the factory gauges will never go back in
