Then next round of kits will come with the slightly larger turbine (1.15 a/r vs 1.0 a/r), so that will help a bit with boost. These engines rev so high, and the extra exhaust flow in the last 1000rpm can really push the exhaust back pressure up there. For every 10psi of boost, the exhaust pressure before the turbine should not exceed 20psi (2:1 ratio). In other words, if the turbine is on the small side, the wastegate can see up to 20psi of pressure on the valve just from the exhaust. The 1.0 a/r turbine housing can clearly get to 550whp (and that is a lot for a stock block), the 1.15 a/r housing can do it just a bit more efficiently.
