Yeah I am not sure what is causing the failure, without knowing much I would currently say this might be the "saving" point in the car where Nissan tried to lower cost. Sucks, but at least the dealerships are being helpful in replacing them. Also, my issue has always been 4 to 5. Have found if I shift from 4 to 5 but hold for half a second it does not grind ever but does get annoying to do that all the time.
