Nice meeting you too man. Sorry I left early, little sis was bored and hungry lol. I was gonna say bye but everybody disappeared haha. Not sure on what meth kit, aquamist with direct port inj? I want to get everything set up and the car running before I decide if I REALLY need it. I've got loooots of reading to do on this topic before buying a kit.
Right now I'm just going over all the parts and reading the GTM installation manual to see what other things need to be done so I that they can be tackled all at once. I'm trying to avoid any delays at the shop bc of a missing/incorrect part. If any of you guys have any recommendation of what else YOU would do, please share :D Also I realized Sat at the meet (after a supra flew by me) that my car is not loud obnoxious enough and its gonna get quieter with the turbos so I am thinking about removing the resonators :p |
Ron, do you HFC or RTP or something?
With those 3" downpipes it will really open the system up nicely, your lists looks pretty solid. You will end up thinking something new/different once things start going on the car, but that is part of the never ending build. :p |
Haha I'm sure I will.. damn mod bug. Nop, stock cats and 18'' FI exhaust. So its quite. I'm not gonna cut anything until after everything is installed. But yeah, ur right, replacing cats with downpipes should open it up.

You need to swing by Baker and check out some of the projects they got going. They have done tons of GTR's lately and have about 5 GTR's lined up for new Greddy Turbos. My 240sx is there now about to get a s14 make over and many many more goodies.
You need to take a spin in Brads 370z. Built block, stage 2 gtm tt and down pipes etc. You will love. |

Time goes by pretty quickly... a word of advise.. if anybody is serious about going FI DO NOT waste your time and money on minor mods. Intakes, headers, HFCs even CBEs if they're not the right diameter they will just be a waste (looking at a 3in system myslef)...anything that will be gone once the TT/SC is installed. Every penny counts so try to fight the mod bug as best you can hehe

Sounds good. I have 2 exhausts in mind. My first choice is a 3" TDX and the alternate is the Greddy TiC (2.75in). Leaning heavily toward the TDX..........
