There will always be sports cars for us purists. Sure the Europeans might stop and the exotics might go for paddles in the chase of efficiency but the domestic market will always be there and Aston Martin continues to hold down the manual market for high end cars.

The guy in the paddles may be faster but the guy driving the stick shift will always having a more enjoyable driving experience and will be wearing a bigger smile.

That's what I am saying. Until I am paid to drive a car, I don't care about shifting .05 seconds faster. I care about the fun I am having driving. I like rowing my own gearbox.
