GTM Performance Engineering stage 2 600hp supercharger kits line-up press release

Would still like to see some more physical evidence that the LTH's can't work... Otherwise awesome, and extremely technical write up. A lot of good builds here.

We are not saying that we are 100 % certain that the LTH's wont fit, Based on what we know we think they wont. So until somebody really try to do it we wont know. I think We have said the same thing a million time so far.

Thank you

Sam

So us Stage 1 guys are making like ~400-430whp and something like 320-340tq. Stage2 gets a big bump in HP but only seeing a small bump in tq numbers, 365 and 350 on the first 2 dyno's. Is that to be expected with an SC setup or is that just with our cars in general?

Also, any word on an upgrade path from Stage1 yet Sam?
It must just be our cars. The only builds that come close to making over 400 tq are TT builds running pretty high boost. I don't know if its just the engine or something to do with VVEL.

I sincerely believe that once this huge task is done everyone will stfu as the VQ will be able to show its true potential. Its been stated over and over, VVEL causes premature flow of exhaust from the combustion chambers. I expect the solution to be expensive and probably not come out till the end of the year at the earliest. Sam has been real quiet on the issue other than progress is being made and they are working on it. I also think that once you crack VVEL turbo guys will make way more torque sooner in the powerband and SC guys will get way more torque in general and we'll all collectively laugh at guys asking about 04 Cobras (granted it is my favorite mustang ever and I will get one post grad school) and GTRs. Until then I'll silently curse Nissan for this one huge hurdle.

Generally Sc cars have lower torque numbers then twin turbo cars, The stage 2 can do 400 RWTQ but you will have to spin it faster, so defiantly there is room for expansion .

As for the stage 1 Kit upgrades, We just need to finalize the pricing. We will have two options to offer, one option will offer a compressor housing/ intake upgrade and the other will be upgrading the charger to the 91 trim.

Here is some pics

Sam

Sam, could you talk about the first pic here? Obviously the second pic with the bigger blower is going to make more power, but what about just the different compressor/intake housing? How is that going to make more power? Would you be using a different pulley on the existing blower to go along with this? Or something different in the tune?

This option is offered to all the stage 1 Supercharge guys so they can extract a little more horse power out of the system, this is accomplished by implementing our Vband compressor housing design and our tuned air intake system for maximum performance with our 3" MAF piping, With this supplement kit, you will get all the parts needed to make the transformation with the option of implementing our GTM urethane mount on one side or both.

Below is the list of all the parts that comes in this upgrade :

GTM SC Compressor housing C38-81 V band type
GTM SC Pulley 92mm
GTM Power St Fitting
GTM Power St Hose
GTM Breather Filter
GTM Urethane Eng Mount
GTM 3" MAF Piping
GTM 3" Inlet Intake
GTM 4.5" Intake Filter
GTM Transition Couplers
GTM T-Bolt 3" V-band Clamp
GTM SC Belt
GTM Base ECU Map

Depending on Pulley size, We recommend the following

Bosch EV14 650cc injector upgrade
GTM Fuel Pump Voltage Stabilizer kit
Custom Dyno Tuning

So this is where sam post all the good stuff first, damn. Also just to introduce myself, I'm the owner of the PG G35S HR that's in the press release. It is nice to see that most people is doing well with the kit.
Still i have done over 2000miles of driving the past 5 days mainly on the highways, and i can say that the kit is very powerful for sure. And i can report my mileage on the highway under the condition of doing a decent speed is in the high 19mpg.

Sam

Has a new installation manual for this kit been produced?

If so, can you please provide us with a link. Thanks.
