I completely agree on the fan. I am having one ordered AND I will probably do the Greddy pan. It has cooling fins on it. It appears to be available outside of the kit. My hope is both lower my oil temps to an acceptable level.

I will update when I have more details on what worked.

I am new to the fourm,I have a 2010 z roadster sp and touring with stillin true duel and injen long tubs hearerd and kinect hf cats and oil cooler .
Ijust orderd gtm sc I am not a kid I do drive responsably except for wanting to have something under the hood thats awsome.
My concern is the ford dealership is installing the sc , they have done toyota and ford sc
Do they need to put my z on the dyno if I purchase the complet tuner , will going back to stock ecu and then using sc tune be ok? I don`t want to blow the engine .
I hope someone can understant what I am saying ha ha

why in The world would you let a Ford dealer install your SC kit in The first place. Yes, you will need to tune your car on a dyno machine if you bought the tuner kit.

Take it to a shop that specialize in Nissan man.

Agree with this ....

You need to do some more researh on the turn key SC kit you have purchased. Your HFC's will not last long with the SC so get some test pipes. Not sure your oil cooler will work since the GTM kit relocates the filter. Expect a day or more for dyno tuning. Sam will get you started on a base tune but you will need several dyno pulls to get the tune right.

The only other option I would see and probably not do-able due to the front mount is air ducts like the HKS oil cooler. I expected the front bumper to have no airflow besides the front due to increase in downforce.

It's good to see a local GTM SC kit. I would like to see it some time.... I seriously considered going this route with my G37, but in the end I decided to go with an Audi S4 instead.

Ok, I am curious about this. I noticed that the twin turbo guys just have the oil coolers sit right behind the intercooler. They are not having any temperature issues but they do use 34row. What is the reason behind relocating the oil cooler for the supercharger setup?

I think it has more to do with the limited air flow with the NISMO bumper than the size of the oil cooler. I also think the heat wave over where I live in Texas plays a part in my high oil temps.

EDIT
And to answer your question about location, I think GTM located the Rotrex cooler and the oil cooler there as it was the best location that had empty space.

Here is a shot of the bumper cut out and all you see is IC.


Here is a shot of the driver side of the bumper where the Rotrex and oil cooler reside. They are effectively to the right of the IC in in a pocket of the bumper with little to no airflow.


I am going to add the SPAL fan and temperature controller and see what better temps I can obtain.


In addition I am probably going to order the Greddy turbo cast aluminum oil pan to see if it fits with the NISMO under tray. It has cooling fins and adds extra oil capacity. I just do not know if it will fit without cutting up something. I don't know yet. You can see the pan at the bottom of this photo. That is not my car but another forum member's I believe who had the Greddy turbo kit installed.

I can't see very clearly on my phone. Is that aluminum thingy the oil pan?

When I installed my oil pan spacer I did not had to cut anything however you will need to bend the undertray frame a little to bolt up the spacer bolt. After everything is on we just bend it back in. This link might help a little.

The intercooler bolts up using the holes for the aluminum bumper. The GTM SC intercooler goes behind the aluminum bumper. I don't think there is enough room behind the SC intercooler to fit an oil cooler.
