Nice Ivo, Been waiting too. :)

vlad370z 03-18-2014 11:28 PM

I have ordered the heat exchanger your testing will be interesting can only be better.
Ivo what clutch are you running?

vlad370z 03-22-2014 08:45 AM

Ivo

I intend to follow your method of installing the heat exchanger , do you need to modify the front facial ?

Realale 03-22-2014 09:55 AM

I did on my Nismo, but not sure about other bumpers. I also didn't cut the crash bar. I'd assume if you notched out the crash bar to recess the heat exchanger there'd be no need to notch the bumper.

Hey Guys

I have the crash bar rotated 180 degrees around the towing suspension
not to damage.

http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1395527238

The front facial had to grind a little on the grids.
I'll post photos as soon as I have the newly painted front facial back.

Stay tuned

Ivo

BTW: i hope you unserstand my bad english :icon14:

I would guess not, I had to cut mine off also on my G37. But I didn't flip my crash bar.

ANMVQ 03-25-2014 09:06 AM

Nice PIC Ivo, I LOVE how the UP arrow is pointing to the ground, LOL :)

vlad370z 03-26-2014 01:35 AM

I already have the stillen heat exchanger installed and about replace with
the frozen boost heat exchanger, is there any benefit not removing the stillen heat exchanger and cascading from one to the other? Any thoughts

That's what I did. Mainly just for ease of install. It doesn't effect the way the pump works or anything. I figured that it would have added coolant and added time away from the heat for more cooling.

ANMVQ 03-26-2014 08:44 AM

Not really but I still don't like that its attached the radiator?

Realale 03-26-2014 12:42 PM

Fresh air concept

5 Attachment(s)
This week I have the fresh air process optimized

Separation of the front with a own-built part.

In the left side is the STILLEN oil cooler and power steering cooler that produce a great heat.

In the right side, is the fresh air intake of the STILLEN supercharger (2 K&N Filters)
Additionally, I have a fresh air intake installed which flows directly to the K&N air filters

Next week, follows the newly painted front :excited::excited::excited:

Stay tuned.....

Hey Guys

I love this forum! :tup::tup::tup::tup:
It has already brought me a lot of ideas
for various projects for my "Z" and there are great builds to read

- Amazing SC and TT- Builds
- Wheels
- Suspension
- Fozen Boost
- Z-Speed undershroud
- JWT oil pan spacer
etc.....

We have, unfortunately, too few opportunities with charged Z's.
There are in Switzerland about 4 STILLEN and 2 Novidem Kits

The rest goes original ... :driving:

The undeshield is awesome, with the sandwich plate for the oil cooler the filter sits further to the passenger side. I think you can take the filter off without dropping the shield.

LukasC 04-17-2014 11:47 PM

This is awesome! I just got my car back from my stillen sc install yesterday! Loving it but am worried about water to the intakes and that stock heat exchanger not working in this texas heat. This option solves both those issues!

swiss370Z 04-18-2014 01:41 AM

Congratulations on your new kit!

Thank u sir!
It sure is some good ideas man! Did u keep that black splash guard on the back side of the new heat exchanger to keep ur a/f consistent? Or took it off?

swiss370Z 04-18-2014 02:06 AM

I have removed it

The new big head exchanger serves as a splash guard.
It covers almost 95% of the front opening.

Pictures will follow as soon as I have the front back from the paint shop

Swiss where did u get the hoses for the new front mount and how long are they? U kept the stock one there and ran it to the bigger one right?

swiss370Z 04-25-2014 02:26 AM

Hey LukasC,

I bought the hose from a dealer in Switzerland.

https://shop.maagtechnic.ch/ishop/pr...t/MG-42348.xml

I ordered 2 meters (the same dimensions as the existing)
I have only changed the entry hose (warm side from the pump)
