Stillen doesnt make a 10PSI pulley But you might wanna watch my thead, 500WHP Stillen SC. I swaped a bunch of stuff, Tune is this Saturday at 12pm.

swiss370Z 12-26-2012 11:12 AM

Hello together

"WHITE DRAGON" UpDate

We have changed the Vortechpulley from 9 to 10 PSI!
At the moment we drive 32,000 km with 490 hp without any problem.
(22'000 km (13'670 miles) with the kit installed)

The next step follows in February.
New impellers from a manufacturer from Germany.

I can only say one thing:
The Z goes like hell and many a Porsche or Ferrari driver
has scratched on the head ..... :happydance:
as the japanese car without problems remained at the tail! :driving:

I'm going in March 2013 creating a new film about the unspeakable Ride
capture on video.

Here is the first movie of my project:
Nissan 370Z STILLEN Supercharger & F.I. CBE 18" - YouTube

See you soon and a wonderful holiday season and a great start to 2013 :tiphat:

Best regards from Switzerland

He's Swiss. Cut him some slack, he's from a country that actively hates automobiles and those who love them.

The Progress goes on....

Hi Together,

I would like to bring all my way and the progress to the STILLEN- Supercharger System closer

(I try to give my best in english ...)

Phase 1:
April 2010, I bought the 370Z brand new (what a good decision!)

Note:
In the picture is the final state of the optical changes since 2010...

http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1357869927
http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1357869932
http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1357870150

Phase 2:
November 2010, I went on a search for a supercharger kit for the 370Z.
I inquired in Europe .... (No one could help me or had experience with such a project!)

Phase 3:
December 2010 I found the "www.the370z.com" forum!
What a great thing for the search for such questions!
Big compliment to the whole forum!

Phase 4:
January 2011 I decided to go for the supercharger kit from STILLEN
The reason: the optics and technology
Please no comments on my decision!
I know there are good as well as bad reviews about this system!

Phase 5:
February 2011 Contacting Chip- Racing for installation and homologation in Switzerland. (Very strict laws here in Switzerland, exhaust fumes, noise and power)

Phase 6:
March 2011 ordering and installation of the kit

Current Mileage: 6'000 (10'000 KM)

Chip- Racing has implemented this project as the first here in Switzerland. (and I believe also in Europe)

Nissan 370Z Supercharger | Chip-Racing

The genesis way ....

Shopping list:
- STILLEN Supercharger System (satin Vortech Blower)
- STILLEN Headers (ceramic coated)
- STILLEN Oil- cooler (a must!!)

http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1357870869
http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1357870615
http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1357870615

Exhaust and HFC still original!

Progress:

The order from STILLEN went smoothly
The installation was completed in 2 days
The fit of the parts is just perfect

http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1357870903

April 2011 First test run:

The "Z" goes on smoothly
In the first test drive after 30 minutes starts the "Z" to stutter.
What's going on?
The problem was recognized very quickly by Chip- Racing
The software supplied by STILLEN does not fit!
In Switzerland, we drive with gasoline from 95 to 100 octane

Set after 2 months of trying and various contacts and to STILLEN we decided to continue directly with UpRev
(UpRev Osiris)

The "Z" was always set to the same dyno
Dynapack by Chip-Racing

But see for yourself how accurate the story continues ....

Nissan 370Z, originally built in 2010 (my friend with the same car as I have and STILLEN Intake)

Original performance on the Dynapack:
About 300 hp

http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1357871010

STILLEN software
80 hp more

Chip- Racing UpRev calibration
140 hp more

Comparison official STILLEN software to chip Racing UpRev own setting:

http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1357871115

The "Z" goes like hell and has been running smoothly until the end of 2011

January 2012:
The official tests in Switzerland are passed!
The "z" now moves legally on the streets ...
What a story with countless tests and setbacks ...
It does not matter!
The tests have been passed and that's what counts

March 2012:

The "Z" is not running properly...

The Problem:

Broken original catalysts
By the great heat of the Supercharger- System produced

http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1357871441

But no problem!
I have in April and November 2011 already ordered the Exhaust System and the HFC from Fast Intentions

- 370Z TDX Cat Back Exhaust System (18" Resonator)
- 370Z Resonated High Flow Cats

At the point a big thank to Tony!

http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1357871503
http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1357871508

After installing the components Chip- Racing has the "Z" again optimized.

Here is the final performance level since mid 2012th

Current Mileage: 18'650 (30'000 KM)

Chip- Racing UpRev calibration:
165 hp more

http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1357871570

I hope I could make my story a little closer?

As of February 2013 is the "Z" again in the final BOOST- Stage...
We install a new impeller in the Vortech Blower...
(not the 928Motorsports Impeller. Application: Vortech V1, V2 S-Trim Superchargers; and V2 Sc-trim Superchargers)
The STILLEN Kit comes with the Vortech V-3 SCi

I will report the end of February on the further course

Stay tuned and see you soon...

Greetings from Switzerland :tiphat:

Hello everybody

From the start 2011 to the "current" end 2013....

Today the power of the latest adaptation is now officially known!

Start 2011: 294 hp
End 2013: 500 hp

On the same dyno on "Chip-Racing" since the project launch

With the following parts for now:

- STILLEN SUPERCHARGER Kit
- STILLEN Oil-Cooler
- STILLEN Headers
- Invidia HFC
- Akrapovic Evolution Exhaust
- Impeller from a european Factory (more Boost in the middle and end)
- UPRev Custom Tune

The result is simply sensational and goes like hell!

Looking forward to good weather and enjoy every second with the new Up-Date :driving::driving:

Best regards from Switzerland

elperuano 03-21-2013 04:25 PM

Wow great numbers! Wish we had 100 octane at the pumps readily available!

On top of the graph it says Mitsubishi evo6. Why is that there? Kind of confusing. Also what are your torque numbers? Does ur 500hp mean the same 500hp here in the states?

swiss370Z 03-21-2013 04:59 PM

Hey elperuano

Thanks for your reply

Nissan Switzerland and Europe: Officially 328 hp and 360 Nm for the 370Z

We measure our performance here at between 295 to 320 hp
I think that means in the States BHP? I'm not quite sure!

496 Nm (Newtonmeter) corresponds I think 365.830802 ft lbf (TQ)

For the moment we are producing 200 hp more than original
Currently enough...:driving::driving:

swiss370Z 03-22-2013 02:23 PM

Hey together

The first real test on the road today ....:driving:

Eyeyeyey..... Power without end.....:tup::tup:

BUT:
Clutch slip when switching between the 2nd and 6th gear!

Time for a new clutch:
I would prefer the Exedy Stage 1 Clutch

What do you think?

Thanks for the REPLYS GUYS:tup::tup:

Greetings
Ivo

elperuano 03-22-2013 02:35 PM

I have the OS Giken twin disc. I'm at 540/500 and it holds the power very good. No slippage at all. Clutch is a lot stiffer to push down compared to stock tho!

I wonder if you paired the twin disc with that clutch pedal upgrade that people have talked about on here if you could get pressure back down near normal.

Very nice videos, thx for sharing them!

FireDan50 03-23-2013 06:35 PM

If you did not do the 928 motorsports impeller upgrade, which exact impeller upgrade did you do?

swiss370Z 03-23-2013 07:03 PM

Hey FireDan50

I have the following impeller:

Schaper Automotive - Vortech Billet Impeller 36101

Just out of curiosity, why did you switch from the Fast Intentions exhaust to the Akrapovic exhaust?

That's a good question

Because the "Fast Intentions" is too loud for our laws :shakes head:
and I had problems with the nice uniformed people here in Switzerland

http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1364116467!

Otherwise I would never change

NEVER!

showme99 03-25-2013 05:31 PM

Wow, you had the 18" resonators (the most quiet option) and the police still thought it was too loud! Maybe your HFCs played a part in that (I understand that they increase the volume of your exhaust even further).

Shamrock 11-02-2013 04:59 PM

Your post and pics were great. Just bought the stillen and my country is way behind in FI sports cars. I have the akropovitch and stillen headers and cats how many hp (at the wheel) should I be able to get with the uprev tune? Thanks

swiss370Z 11-03-2013 10:01 PM

Hello

With a good tune (not STILLEN) and your exhaust system
do you come about to 460 - 500 HP
Maybe something more ...:)

The power at the wheel, I can only estimate
Power loss to the wheel, we estimate between 12 - 16%

(See the calculator in the link
It is impossible to calculate these values accurately, this information should be used as a rough guide only)

Wheel Horsepower to Crankshaft Horsepower Guestimator

Hope I could help you that way
Do not forget to install the additional oil cooler

Greetings
Ivo

ANMVQ 11-04-2013 02:20 PM

Careful with the headers and HFC's Stillen themselves
Don't recomend running them , I don't either @ 11-12 psi your at the blocks limit ( very close ) just get all your info before you spend $$$ on replacing the motor .

Nice. Please post some photos of how it will mount because there is not much room with the intake filters and oil cooler. Maybe it goes in front of everything.

Thanks
