I'm first in line... A pro-stock car's back windshield just blew off half way down the track and shattered all over the track. They are almost finished. Times soon :) Crappy thing is the track is onl open until 2.

Not yet...hopefully I'll have time to install it tomorrow.

What a BS day!!! The drag strip is 64 miles away. Got there at noon. I'm the next car in line and they stop me and let the drag cars go race. A drag car blows it's windshield off and it shatters half way down the track. That took an hour to clean up. Then maybe 3 or 4 races after the restart, a drag Corvette loses it midway down the track, almost saves it, slams into the left wall and then skids across and slams into the right wall. At 2, test and tune was over and that was when the accident happened. I went, got my refund, and left. So pissed!!!

At least you don't have to worry about rain every damn time like over here:mad:

Its either it completely rained out and track is closed. You get there early pay for admission and it rains before it starts. You get there and about to line up or waiting to go and it rains. You get one pass, it rains. The list goes on and on.


It went on like this for over 2 months. So to track what each mod does to the car time wise is skewed as i've modded more each time and never got to see what a single mod has done for me.


I'm interested to see what your Single turbo puts down. GL and hopefully the weather holds up for you next time:tup:

I just got a new roommate today...+$$$:tup: Let me fix my PS leak, my exhaust, add my coils and radiator, and I'll come down for a tune and 1/4 mile run :)

So it might be awhile. :(

I was going to fix the PS leak, fix the exhaust, and put in the radiator today, but my exhaust components didn't come in yet. Everything can be done in a day, minus the tune of course...because that will happen when I drive 4hrs away.

If your talking about goin to palm beach international raceway let me know when your going im down In miami I'd like to pass by and watch this car fly :ughdance:

My car will be busy in October!

Saturday is the day... The first 1/4 mile run since the turbo build! It's been over 5 months since the build began. I am adding a resonator and replacing a leaking band clamp, HOPEFULLY fixing my PS leak...at least finding it, installing the CSF radiator and Stance coilovers.... And MAYBE add some sweet nectar and up the boost?

Next weekend is Festivals of Speed at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando. Room is already booked...I'll probably be the lowest end car model there, but I'll try to represent the Z well :) I'll be showing with the Tampa Automotive Club (R8, GT3, 997TT to name a few).

October 23rd is the big S&R Performance Poker Run.

I'm hitting the drag strip tomorrow night so I can try and raise the bar for you a little bit :bowrofl: :bowrofl: :bowrofl:

I THINK we fixed the power steering leak:tup: the clamp from the hose to the pump wasn't even on the fitting and the sensor wasn't tightened:mad:

Resonator is on and we replaced the leaking band clamp. Exhaust is quieter :(, but no rasp :)

Time to wash the car and get all the PS fluid off the back bumper, put the drag radials on, and head to the track at 7:30. TIME SLIPS FOR THE FIRST TIME WITH BOOST:driving:
