When I had it taken out it was still usable (no slipping), I put in a new OEM clutch for good measure (installed lightweight flywheel). no complaints from me on the stock clutch.

Running OS Giken Twin Plate for over 10k miles. No problem with these and absolutely no slip.

Also running the os giken but had the csc replaced to prevent any issues. How are you guys launching with this clutch it grabs hard and stutters if i dont treat the stop light like a xmas tree, I feel like a 16 yr old learning how to shift a manual again :/

Anyone have a link to buy the CSC upgrade for a OS twin clutch? I will buy it right now.

I won't go into much detail about this as obviously from the post in here others are making there own CSC versions.
There are areas that need addressed just for the OS giken clutches, get this wrong and the slave will not last long at all if it makes out of the garage before it blows out. Over the last 2 years of testing with many different clutch set-ups we have all the bugs worked out and have an amazing product! We have many, many customers in our Zspeed HD CSC with Zero failures. We actually have one customer that has been through 2 OS giken twin disk rebuilds on the same slave kit, he does nothing but drifting and beats the living **** out of it ![]() |

I already have a Csc in my car from you guys. I was just curious as to why the osg one is different. I got a feeling it has to do with how stiff the osg clutches are to disengage...btw, I know of one of your units failing on an osg clutch on a 370z in Miami. Don't need to be more specific. I have no idea if he had the osg specific one or not, but he got a new one and it's been fine since!

Yes we did have one in FL that had failed, He had the wrong slave style for the OS Giken and is why it failed, This was due to a fitment issue, not that it just failed. Last edited by Joe@ZSpeed; 05-28-2011 at 11:13 AM. |

So, my stock clutch isn't up to the task after all. Time to look at some options.
Anyone using the South Bend TZR with the kevlar disc? I am looking at that with the billet steel flywheel. I want a streetable clutch that will still take a beating.
