Gtm motorsports crazy video on youtube!

Hey guys,

So im looking into ordering my SC kit finally this week and doing some video searching on youtube.com and find this..... WOW

YouTube - Don't buy 370Z TT kit from GTM motorsports (A guy named Joe Story)

Can anyone explain this????

ducky 03-08-2011 08:19 PM

Wow It is...atleast the video is kinda funny...

RCZ 03-08-2011 08:43 PM

Wow. This makes no sense....why would GTM send someone a completely messed up kit while they have been sending perfectly good kits to everyone else?

If you have concerns about ordering u should call GTM. I can tell u from my experience my kit was flawless.
clever video tho

I'm prolly gonna order it anyways... It's just I was so shocked to see this quality coming from such a great company. I'm very picky about quality of the condition of items that's all. I just wanted to see if there was another side to the story that someone may know.

destinyZ posted on the white dragon build thread that his kit was beat up

Something doesn't add up. Maybe Steve Millen is making videos to undermine his competitors :ugh2:

Would customs open up products and destroy them? It's a possibility. The kit was sent to Guam.

Can't say anything about the kit, but good narration on the video!

In regards to the shipping issue described in the this thread, we are very accessible and take care of our customers. As soon as we received the call from Joe regarding the issues, we took care of him. In fact, we are sending out replacement parts before we even receive the damaged ones.

Our shipping department is OCD when it comes to packing parts. Everything is bubble wrapped and protected before shipping. Of all the kits we have shipped out, this is the first time something major happened during shipping. Regardless, we are here to take care of our customers and ensure that they get what they pay for and that does NOT mean "hacked up parts". We take a lot of pride in what we do and shipping garbage is not something we do...unless of course, you decide not to recycle the bubble wrap you receive with your kit. ;)

Anyway, back on topic, we'll be testing the manifold on bullitt's project first.

Funny how this dude fails to mention that in the video.

Yeah I dont know. I've never heard of anyone receiving beat up products from GTM. In terms of delays, I can see that happening. GTM is not the best at quick shipments since they are swamped. But their quality control is top notch. Here is a picture of the packaging from my twin turbo kit. This is how they prepared for it when I was personally picking up the kit. They're not even shipping it and it's well protected.

exactly.. I got my SC kit like the same week that guy posted that.. everything was packaged perfectly.

I got my stuff shipped to me and it had tons of peanuts and bubble wrap. I thought it was excessive, but that means all the stuff is protected.

I mean even my screws were bubble wrapped

Here you can see the oil cooler wrapped up. I had unwrapped everything else.
