That looks like it went through customs and they just threw it back in the box .

OHHHHHHHHH. Now everything makes sense.

modme 03-08-2011 11:41 PM

If customs did that, then GTM is not liable for any of the damages. But they gave the buyer new parts/ or refund anyways. That's good customer service.

What would've stillen have done?

That, or someone besides GTM opened it up before the packages arrived at their final destination.

Staples 03-08-2011 11:56 PM

Well proof tells us it was customs who unpacked everything and threw it all back in the box. Then obviously chit was hitting inside the box when it was being shipped to the destination. OBVIOUSLY GTM would never internationally ship a product without making sure it's properly packaged.

GTM isn't at fault whatsoever in this matter, you can blame customs.

OKAY EVERYONE. This is the video I made. I was deciding if and When i was going to post it on the Forum. Someone beat me too it. All the quotes on video are actual quotes from GTM. Just to keep everyone update. Joe has yet to receive the undamaged products from GTM which were sent out just a few days ago. I will be making another video of the updates. I wish this were not the circumstances but things are what they are.
This was product wasn't just scratched (could have been avoided with bubble wrap)up but used and banged up as well. If you look at the pipes you can see black grime in the cracks and dents. That doesn't come from shipping. No one spends this type of money expecting to get this kind of crap. GTM has only now wrapped better products and sent them snail mail.

I hope you all enjoyed the video.
I have other things to do for now but i'll be back with more videos updates and answer any questions you have.
Thanks.:tiphat:

Im posting because I was mentioned and once again....someone took the liberty of speaking for me.

Before posting, plz watch movie, this thread has 2x's views then the video. Also, Listen and read what is being said. It is becoming apparent that ppl are already not listening to the video and are just watching some of it, coming up with their own conclusion...or just not watching. assumptions are not needed.

they could, but no packages were opened...just to make that clear. Another thing Is I know customs would not, unwrapped every item and stick it back in with paper towels, plus they rarely open up packages. Customs uses X-ray machines, I know for a fact...smh

Funny how this dude fails to mention that in the video.

Yeah I dont know. I've never heard of anyone receiving beat up products from GTM. In terms of delays, I can see that happening. GTM is not the best at quick shipments since they are swamped. But their quality control is top notch. Here is a picture of the packaging from my twin turbo kit. This is how they prepared for it when I was personally picking up the kit. They're not even shipping it and it's well protected.

^^^HAHAHA!!

Were you there? Of course you were there, you must have been......

no boxes were opened.

This is not the first time I have had something shipped out to Guam. Previous car had same setup (all shipped to guam) and all current parts on the 370 car, were recieved unscathed and undamaged.

There was no room for the pipes to move inside the box, it was packed entirely to tight...refer to pictures

Ive been on Guam 3 years in April, never have had a shipping issue before this. Care packages, or car parts, no issues until now.

There is literally no f****** room for any movement in the box. Some scratches I could somewhat understand but most of the damage is completely unacceptable.

TO ALL:

PLEASE LISTEN, LISTEN TO VIDEO BEFORE POSTING

:icon17: LOL! What a joke.
Unless customs put the kit on their car, got grime on it, & dropped the intercooler on the concrete. Then crammed all the pipes in one box and separated the layers of pipes by this brown paper towel crap. When GTM was questioned about the paper towel crap they agreed they knew what it was.

Again No one spends that much money to get this garbage in the mail. The only reason we're all even discussing this is because when confronted with the problem GTM handled it poorly. For the Record Still haven't received the undamaged parts from GTM. One box just got shipped (intercooler)Feb 26 the other (piping)March 5th.

I'm prolly gonna order it anyways... It's just I was so shocked to see this quality coming from such a great company. I'm very picky about quality of the condition of items that's all. I just wanted to see if there was another side to the story that someone may know.

Liquid G isn't that odd that even since that post you're trying to recall. Joe still hasn't received any undamaged parts. :confused:You would think it would have been taken care of by now. Seeing as GTM has such good service and all.

Okay Staples you can stop:nutswinger: now.
:gtfo2: the only obvious thing is that GTM sent some garbage parts and wasn't going to do anything about it anytime soon until this incident reached the forum. The repetitive scratches on all the pipes were from poor wrapping and shipping. Intentional or not GTM is at fault. But since you obviously know what happened ;could you please explain this: (view pictures below)

there was black grime in the groves, cracks and of majority of scratches. Which normally happens over time. Please also explain how Brand New parts Properly wrapped and packaged get rust on them. Oh and there was no damage to the box the intercooler was shipped in.
