Regardless of the minor knock I'm having the car is running well, it doesn't drive like crap as others have stated. As you can see Stillen is getting very close in wrapping up their tuning issues cuz their tunes are getting better one after another.
They should account for the octane you will see in CA, which should be perfectly easy since they are located in the heart of CA to begin with and deal with our 91 octane gas every day. It should not detonate or knock regardless of the fuel you fill it with, granted you should fill it with the highest octane available to you in my opinion.

Very nice, is this supposed to be the final tune #9 at this point?

OP have you gotten a custom tune or are you running the stillen reflash?
I'm running Rev. 6 from Stillen. Like everyone else R7 was a mess, not sure what happened there but it did not work right at all. I'm pretty happy with R6 so I'm sticking with it. I just got a revision (not sure which one) from my installer and will try it when I get the chance. I've been out of town all last week and have plenty to catch up on.

It does if you can afford it and don't mind paying for it. Total cost of the car is under $50K with Stillen kit and has more power than a stock C6 Corvette. Not everyone is driving a 450 hp Z and there a lot of Vettes out there.

I know you mentioned about the slight knock and how it went away when you fueled with 101 octane and it mixed with the 91 octane and it went away. There fore after that you said you try to fill with 93. After you filled with 93 did you notice if the knock went away or was it still present?

Also I was wondering if you plan on bringing it to stillens attention about the starting issue(if we really want to call it that) to see if they can adjust your fuel trim for starting? Like I said this is a easy fix and I think you should notify them of it and get it corrected. Just for the sake of being, after that it will be perfect. Please keep us informed.

Yes, after the track day I used 93 in my next full tank and the knock was gone.

The installer (Failsafe) has brought it to the attention of Stillen and I just received a new tune from Stillen along with a follow up email from Josh. I have been out of town and have not uploaded the tune yet. Once I do I will put some miles on the car an then provide Josh and Failsafe with feedback. Once I have solid information to share I will do so.

I am hoping my issues with this tune are gone and the drivability and power is still there, particularly the low end torque that dissapeared with R7.
