Default GTM TWIN TURBO kit: 2009 370Z 539WHP/490RWTQ-WATER INJECTED TORQUE MONSTER

This was one of our development cars for our twin turbo kit, Recently we have installed an Aquamist water/meth injection system on the car and did some tuning on 91 Octane pump gas so we thought I'll share some results with you guys.
Currently we are only injecting distilled water via two nozzles in each MAF pipe and so far the car is responding very well to the the added timing we are running. Also we are planing on switching to a direct port injection set up once our GTR manifold is ready then we will be injecting water and meth and push the car a little more .

Here is the list of mods on the car and the dyno graphs

GTM Stage 2 Turn-Key Twin Turbo System
GTM 3" Turbo Cat-back exhaust
GTM Oil Pan Spacer
GTM 3" Downpipes w/ External waste gates
GTM Diff cooler
GTM Competetion oil cooler
GTM Stainless Braided Clutch line
GTM ECU reflash via Osiris uprev
OS Giken Twin Plate Dampened clutch/flywheel kit
HKS EVC6 Boost Controller
HKS KNOCK AMP
Aquamist water/meth injection

Sam

And here is some pics of a direct injection set up

Playing with water injection is a lot fun, it is truly amazing of what you can do with simply just adding water.

I'm glad the water injection worked. Open up a world of new ideas nows. Needs to add this in my kit now.

For pure det supression, you can't beat running straight water.

To pick up any power with the methanol, you'd probably have to spray enough to handle some of the basic fueling.

hey sam what is allowing for such the high tq. Is it mainly the water/meth injection or the external waste gates.

I just read that dyno and those TQ numbers are not playing around.

Guessing they are doing a bit of semi-lean spooling with some aggressive timing. That and the boost curve may taper a bit.

I think the boost does taper a little bit but that's probably an issue that will be resolved with the direct port GTR manifold. From those graph it looks like HP peaks at 6300rpm with max torque at 4500rpm. Given enough time I'm sure Sam with get that torque curve must flatter after 4500rpm and keep the HP climbing till the redline.
