I also have a 2008 G37S, and I'm about to order the same kit. Looking forward to continued results. I have an auto and so I'll need a few supporting mods in that department, but it sure sounds like it's a go. Thanks for the post.

Regarding the Synchronic BOV: I had a Synchronic on my Subaru STI and after changing and futzing with settings, it worked PERFECTLY. Yes, there are a few adjustments, and you DO need to plumb back into the intake, especially with the MAF. It is quieter if you do so, too. (For me: A good thing. Others: Not so important)

The low throttle response was immediate and gave zero flutter, which I couldn't lose with the TIAL. I'd be giving those a try once again. Glad to know the TIALS are OK, though.

Don't know anything about the other brand.

I like(d) them as well, but it's common-accepted truth that they're not healthy for high-volume turbochargers or even some stockers - they cause unnecessary compressor surge/flutter in some applications, and quite often leak under high boost.

2 SSQV's is actually a really good setup to eliminate flutter and surge (plus it sounds bad ***), but I'd still rather have something else if I were parting together a kit.

My point is: Synapse Synchronic BOV's are indeed legit. I wouldn't call them an HKS knock off at all.
I have the Synapse bov's and another set of upper charge pipes with the Synchronic flange welded on, so I am going to try them again either with the anti-stall kit or recirculated. I am getting a little compressor surge at very low boost levels. I am going to try to adjust the tial's first and see what happens.

There should be no need to recirc; your setup is a blow-through hot-wire MAF setup and your BOV's are prior to the MAF. It might just take some adjusting and whatnot - I know the Synchronics are picky about the vacuum line plumbing.

Let me guess this happens at very light throttle as well?

No - none when any throttle is applied. Just when in first or second and getting up to about 1-2 psi at 3k then shifiting. It's only a quick, momentary flutter that sounds like a little surge. Any more rpm's or boost and it blows off completley.

I am not familiar with the spring tuning on the Tial's, but I understand that's a source to look into for the cure.

That flutter was consistent and annoying on my Subaru with a Tial, and my experience with the Synchonic ended up curing that. 95% of the time we are at low throttle and boost.

Looking forward to your experiences. Thanks for the updates.

Subscribed for results! Would love to get more info on the intake manifold.
