Mine's at AAM now and just made 680 whp on pump gas. Doing the E85 portion of the Flex Fuel tune this week. That should be close to 800 whp on a built motor. Soon to post the results. |
Dang Bob. Nice numbers! I know this has been a build in progress for a very, very long time.

still need to pass muster this week with the E85 tune. the motor was built by IPP and they rated it at 800 hp capable. don't want to cut it too close here. it will still be in the shop for a few days after doing some other tweaking hear and there. also doing a custom EcuTek traction/slip control integrated to the line locks and have some gauge programming to do as well. when it gets back to NJ it's in for some more work up here but at least it will be back on the road :-) again. Thanks for keeping tabs on me TOP :-) |

Not quite done but finished enough to be brought onto the list of builds. It's been an interesting time with some interesting and unique things that happened along the way. Finished up tune today and like clockwork Mr. Murphy had an invite to the party.
First dyno the trans harness melted , second dyno there was an exhaust leak and then massive fuel leak followed shortly behind. Today the boost controller solenoid decided to take a nap. So here goes: 2015 Nismo 6MT Boosted Performance V2 6266 JB 1.15ar 443.7rwhp/376.5rwtq ( Mustang Dyno ) 7.5PSI (Wastegate spring pressure ) 93oct Under 500 miles on the kit Mishimoto Radiator, CJM Stage 1 fuel return, 650cc injectors,Thermal Zero turbo blanket, Southbend Stage 3 with DXD billet flywheel and HD CSC, RJM Clutch pedal , MXP catback modified for BP kit , Ark GT-f springs, Prosport Halo Oil temp, Oil Pressure and Wideband, Greddy Profec OLED Boost Controller. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2_Uyyc2qjg |

That's probably a whole lotta fun! My tuner used to have a mustang dyno and it was an effing heartbreaker. First got the kit I made 405whp/375wtq and there's no doubt that was a hotter tune than the 510/440 I'm tuned at now on his dynojet . |
I gave up on trying to interpolate other people's dyno numbers and even the graphs. the only real tell tail signs these days are the boost curve and possibly trap times (if they go to the drag strip). Everything else is useless without knowing the baseline. Even then the baseline won't give you a good idea of how much you should make. It will only assist with the net gain.......
With all that said, I hope your cars are nimble and quick (and safe too). If it's a blast to drive, who cares what numbers you put down on X dyno? |
I have joined the ranks of the BOOSTED.
2009, Touring, sport package, 7AT. Stock motor, Stillen SC, TopgunZ's A2A upgrade, ID 1000 injectors, walbro 340, CJ Motorsports fuel return kit, FI CF cat back, Berks HFC, swift springs, Z1 control arms. Tuning by Sebastian @ specialty Z |
Hey Leon, where is the dyno sheet and your numbers, inquiring minds want to know?
|
Going to have to redo mine for christmas...
Dropping down to a closed deck dry sleeve 4.0L with much larger turbos! |

Cool, it just that this tread is about providing information so that others can compare and contrast numbers and have some information just in case they may want to go FI.
Of course there are those that only care about who has the biggest genitals lol! Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk |

Nice! Very impressive results. Is that 517 BHP or WHP?
Is the lower plot boost? It seems to peak way beyond 9psi. How come? Quote:

Please PM me with the specs if possible. Compression Ratio, Pistons, Crank, Rods, etc - and which dry sleeve manufacturer. Turn around time as well. Thanks - I am in the market for just such a motor. |

Okay, I've been on the forum for a while but my build is pretty recent, so I will start here. Will need to get TQ numbers when shop replaces their old Dynojet (which is why I don't have the TQ)
2009 Base, Chicane Yellow AAM Twin Turbo, Fuel Return setup 516 whp/?? TQ ~12 psi 93 Pump ~850 miles since TT See sig for other upgrades. Quaife diff, Whiteline done about 4500 miles ago. All other upgrades part of this build. --ZOM |
Some great builds and numbers in here! Almost ready to join everyone, but I drive G37 :stirthepot:
