He built my pillar and it is essential to my build. It is very tasteful, the pod locations are discrete while very accessible, fitment and finish is oem.

He can make them to whatever specs and 1 to 3 pods. Install can be easily done by yourself as the location is easily accessible to power via fuse panel or the engine bay via the firewall loom in that same area.

I will have some pics of it on my build thread going up tonight!

Highly recommend!

It does read low. He says people don't like going to him because of that. It's like about 20whp lower and tq I think.

chrisgordillo 03-25-2014 12:18 PM

My car feels really quick! I also have a race gas tune that wasn't dynoed.

What was the temp when you dynoed? That makes a big difference as well. It was 86degress and humid when I dynoed.

I need to update my dyno chart a bit. I'm not sure what I have listed down from before but Sebastian @ specialty Z rebuilt a good part of the car and stopped tuning it when we hit 800hp and 700tq on e85 at 25psi :yum:

Beast! What are your build details? I don't see a build thread for your car. You should make one.

I have too much stuff to list but I can list a few as EVERYTHING has been changed at one point or another:
Gtm stage 1 long block
Gtm stage 3 turbo kit
GTM 3" exhaust
GTM Gtr intake manifold
GTM comp radiator
GTM HO fans
2 GTM 34 row oil coolers
Cjm twin fuel pump w/ walbro 485 and 255
1100cc Bosch injectors
And a plethora of every other thing u can think of, but those are mostly what make it go.
I can't forget the biggest mod of all SEB@SPECIALTY Z 👊

elperuano 03-26-2014 10:57 PM

Awesome numbers man! I'm glad everything finally turned out good for u! I'm building my block as well. Waitin on the pistons rods to get to my door then I hope to be in ur range. I'm running stage 2 tho.

But ur right so many options now.

Yes so u can get more out of yours still hahaha. I'm so jealous u are selling your gtm stage 3 kit. I wanted to and start over again, but I'm so deep in getting screwed I have to keep what I have for awhile until the wife chills out.

Part of me doesn't want to know what happened, feeling like it may be additional beating of an already dead horse :shakes head:

Glad you are almost back or are back, but always, happy wife, happy life

It's hurting me to sell my kit starting all over is not a easy decision. Now that you posted this it's messing with my head.

:inoutroflpuke: i couldn't justify starting all over when I have not even gotten to enjoy it at all. Just nightmares and bad feelings. On the bright side u have enjoyed your kit and have had good success with it. I have a boner for FI new kit but had to stop the bleeding at some point and specialty z made it happen. I only wanted 700 anyway so to stop at 800 was a surprise. Keep me posted on ur new endeavor as I'm sure it's going to be rediculous . Do u have access to e85? It's only a tune away if u want to keep your current kit a little longer :icon18:

I live in New Jersey and only 2 stations in the state.

Looking at your graph your holding power better than I am up top but it still falls off some looks like some backpressure. I wonder how much that GTR intake manifold is helping. Anyway congrats again I was waiting all last year to see what your would because it was pretty much a copy of my setup.

kpjc4eva 03-28-2014 01:58 AM

Do ya have a aftermarket radiator?

diego@vossen 03-28-2014 10:45 AM

My install begins 1st week of April :) I went with the Stillen SC kit. I also had the opportunity to visit Stillen this past weekend and got to go for a ride in the SC Z that was AMAZING!!!

Fast Intentions 3" Exhaust
FAST-785 Fuel System

37winner 03-28-2014 01:30 PM

Did you do any internal upgrades?

djtodd 03-28-2014 01:33 PM

Nope. That's on a stock block. I will eventually, but that will be over the winter

That is very awesome! I need a fast car like that.

faceglide 03-28-2014 01:56 PM

Welcome djtodd. Lol I just looked at the graph and was like" why do my numbers look awful" haha. The solid green bars for boost psi really threw me off for a second !

Nonetheless thanks for the graph dreamer I love it!

Fast intentions tt buddy....all it takes. With now 4 cars pushing past stock block expectations without a hiccup so far....I would say the kit is quite revolutionary.

The stage 1 kit alone (mine) can almost push 750+hp...to the wheels!

Panning out to be a lot more than just "fancy manifolds". I mean..I hate daily driving a 600hp car. Happy boostin brothers !(it's not my daily, but I drive it so much, I might as well call it that! )

Are you using uprev to tune your car?

As far as I know, there's only one boosted 370 using anything but Uprev. Ecutek with all of the "coming soon" features sounds fantastic, but it's been filed in the "believe it when I see it" category for months now.

faceglide 03-28-2014 02:12 PM

For now..if ecutek could step a,way from the toyobaru and gtr for a few months, most of us would have web return with ecutek, but uprev is doing great on ny car.

Sebastian at specialty z is the z and e85 God! When he is ready for ecutek, I know I'm driving there, wAllet wide open!

elperuano 03-28-2014 04:32 PM

The guys running regular pump gas is still what everyone will go by as far as stock block numbers are concerned. Cannot say the same if ur running e85. But yes Sebs tuning and e85 make wonders.

djtodd 03-28-2014 05:21 PM

E85 is pump gas. I realize it's not available for some, but for the majority, it's available should you choose that route. If it's an option for you, it should be an easy choice.

elperuano 03-28-2014 05:26 PM

It's not as readily available as the normal 87 89 or 93. Only certain stations carry them on the east coast. You would have to plan. Any gas station on the east coast would have pump gas 93 readily available.

Great kit and numbers but cmon. Just don't want someone to be mislead and think EVERY gas station has it.

djtodd 03-28-2014 05:27 PM

http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/29/6y9abezu.jpg

If you want it, you can find it in most places

djtodd 03-28-2014 05:28 PM

But yes, you do have to plan for it. It's an easy choice for me though :)

elperuano 03-28-2014 05:35 PM

I wish I had it closer. Nearest to me is 60 miles. 120 miles round trip :(

But the numbers u guys r making is awesome.

djtodd 03-28-2014 05:36 PM

55 gallon drum brotha!

Rid3_FaM0uS 03-28-2014 05:38 PM

^I have definitely considered this option DJ

snowsurfdirtx 04-05-2014 09:23 PM

not final numbers due to fuel issues as you can see, only did a couple pulls trying to correct it but it's not getting enough juice. will correct it and head back in for a full tune and i'll update with numbers
