I don't think the internals are forged. Sharif@Forged cracked open the HR engine when they first came out back in 06/07 to see the internals, structure, etc and I believe

I don't think the internals are forged. Sharif@Forged cracked open the HR engine when they first came out back in 06/07 to see the internals, structure, etc and I believe he said they are cast, but they are much stronger than the DE. The VHR internals are just as strong as the HR. Anyhow, I think Sam posted pics in this thread when he took out Bullitt's engine with many pics of the internals and block. The block itself is very well built. just the internals that need beefing up if you wanna run high boost all the time.
