Your wheels are crazy also, polished lip with blue. It matches pretty good with your car's color especially with those huge and I mean huge lips, what is it? Like 5-6inches deep lol. Good job! I'm a fan of your car and how nicely, tastefully it is done. Keep up the good work! |

like I said before your doing something right if everyone and there mama has something to say about your car...
it's just people just wish builds go in a certain direction when money isn't an issue.. cause since we all love Z cars your car is a statement for all of us... hence all the coaching on what you needs to and what not... I'm sure that doesn't make sense... props on what you've done so far...waiting to see what you got in store...

People can voice their (negative) opinions as long as they do it in a respectful manner...its an inherent part of posting things on a public online forum. Plus if you have haters and the worst thing they can say is that they don't like the wheels and the stickers...then I think you've done fairly well for yourself. I still don't understand the theme at all, but appreciate the work you've done and the work your sponsors have done to make this project reality. I also like that you toned down the "look at me I'm awesome" attitude that surrounded this build when it started.
Really looking forward to results of the VVEL tuning and just overall how much power this thing ends up making. Oh and I second the frame mounting of the wing...its the safest way...otherwise it might do the old through-and-rip off. |

I appreciate your stance and what you said RCZ... At the beginning I was super stoked and excited and flaunted the build. As the build has progressed I have toned down and really just excited to be able to have the car back soon ![]() Frame mount is definitely the only way to go. I have been working with andrew (jamaica) on designs. I believe we will be mounting to the unibody through the license plate area incorporating a quick disconnect system and license plate holder. That way I can street the car without a massive wing and during track time have the needed down force. We also talked about putting a mount location for a hydralic/servo system to allow me to adjust the AoA on the fly in the cabin ![]()

Well, if that's what you wanted then you should have gone with one of those dynamic aero wing setups that you can change on the fly from inside the cabin. I don't know if you've seen them, but they even have split wing setups now that can move the left and right side of the wing independently to help you in cornering. I know its overkill...but....that's the name of the game isn't it?
![]() Quick detach is a great idea, but just make sure whatever mechanism it is...that it can withstand 1800lbs of force too hehe. Hey..if you got an dynamic wing you wouldn't have this problem of super high df at high speed...just set to 0 angle of attack and go nuts. That's what Bugatti does with the veyron; wing gets lower and flatter to minimize drag. Would be awesome if you had an airbrake! |

KingBaby, thanks for the kind words. In a perfect world all of our builds would be top quality parts and done in 24 hours hahaha glad to see things more civil now.

Kognition wing is easily removed, I'm going to try it with a carbon hatch. Hopefully it won't crack, the mount are set much differently than Mike's wing, I'll keep you guys posted once I have it on.
