GTM is making a tower brace just for this conversion kit! Stay tuned guys it will look sick! I talked to the fabricators and we discussed a couple of ideas to help increase rigidity while also showcasing the manifold ;)

Nothing. And if that were the answer I got, I would say: ah, makes sense.

I don't even know if it benefits the FI 370z guys. Maybe GTM will chime in on that.

We are just now entering into the testing phases with this manifold. the next few weeks will reveal a lot of great information. Sam and I are both very optimistic about this manifold and we believe it will be great for the FI guys.

As far as NA guys are concerned I would not expect huge gains from it like we will probably see with the FI applications. However, We dont know yet... Sam and team are working on SEVERAL "TOP SECRET" projects involving the GTR intake manifold....

So stay tuned guys there is plenty of work that still needs to be done. From my discussions with Sam you guys will be getting a GREAT conversion kit including a cast lower intake manifold!!!

Looks nice, I've heard of their work and it's been nothing but praised.

Here is a quote from their site:

"goal was to increase overall flow and improve flow balance between the runners which will end up giving more balanced power per cylinder and more power overall. After cutting the plenums off and doing some initial testing we had a few flow tests performed that led us to our final design. With full runner and plenum porting, we ended up with ~72 more CFM, better spool, and an increase of 35whp on pump gas. Not too shabby.

As will all our premium manifolds this comes with our advanced ceramics package standard. This coating package consists of two coatings; one on the exterior that is a thermal barrier to help shed heat from the manifold, and a second coating on the flanges of the lower manifold to help minimize heat transfer from the heads to the manifold as well as from the lower manifold to the upper. Good stuff for lowering IAT's.

This service does require you to send in your manifold for the work."

The kicker is that it's not very cheap.

They say that it gave em 35whp (as in all wheel hp), however, I'm wonderin how much you'd see especially since yours would be tuned TT setup and only 2 wheels spinning.

For some reason the GT-R has very low paristic drivetrain loss. I read somewhere 5-17% but not sure the accuracy of the article.

The twin clutches make a significant contribution to shift speed. There are separate clutches for the odd (1,3,5) and even (2,4,6) gears. When the car is running in an odd number gear, the adjacent even numbered gears are pre-selected and are ready to make the shift immediately in the sequential-shifting gearbox. When downshifting, a synchronized rev control 'blips' the throttle precisely to synchronize engine speed for extra-fast downshifts. Borg-Warner triple cone synchronizers are used.
