Superchargers for the 370Z?

Oh wow. Lol. That seems pretty shady. Not on Stillen's part... but it still is bad that your name got attached to a failed project. Since you've told us that

Since you've told us that Stillen is planning on retaining the stock hood for their upcoming 370z supercharger project, can we assume that positive displacement supercharging is out? The underhood space is so small that the stock intake manifold is within millimeters of the hood.

I think a ATI Procharger C2 would look sweet in there:

Think you could fit something like that with a custom intake manifold that accomodates both stock throttle bodies on the left side of the manifold? You could go from the supercharger to intercooler to throttle bodies as a single pipe, all on the left side, then split it with a Y as it gets to the throttle bodies.

I'm just dying to know what you guys are up to......

I think we've already gotten all the bones we're gonna get until they're later in the development process.

Regressing back to my previous car (Mustang), positive displacement superchargers typically removed the intake manifold and sat nicely in the valley between the heads. I'm not too familiar with the VQ37VHR layout, but it could very well be likely that a positive displacement S/C can still fit if it can sit nicely in between the heads.

Now, something unrelated:

Personally, if its a positive displacement S/C, it has to be a twin screw to be worth my time. At the very least, an Eaton TVS blower would do. Supercharging the VQ37VHR would most likely need to be a positive displacement because of the DTB. I can easily see a positive displacement S/C replacing the manifold, and both throttle bodies and going to a larger, single intake pipe and filter.

Just my
