No, he is using HKS Camp 2 unit, plugs in and can read your ECU and display information. Has add ons which can read things the ECU does not report (boost, temps, etc.)

But for us noobs...how does it integrate with the NAV system? Is it a disc you put in to install the program? So is there a hardware and software piece to it?

No. It uses your OBDII port. How it works is you hook it up to power through any where that comes on in ACC. Connect the box to your ODBII port and then connect it to the aux inputs that are in your center console. After that just need to calibrate and switch your nav screen over to aux that way you can view it. The only thing I am not sure about that maybe others know is what wire you have to put into ground, since once you put the car in gear and start moving all Aux inputs will get cut out for safety reasons. Just like how you can't enter info in to the navi while driving. It is really simple to hook up. But from my research the Blitz one is a better buy then the HKS camp II so you might want to look into that. it's only a few more bucks and has alot more features built in that the HKS would require additional purchase of sensors for.

Yes, but I believe there are two Blitz units, one which has only 1 or 2 add ons it supports plus the ECU and another which is similar to the HKS Camp 2.

What I did was I used a module called navtool, it borrows your oem nav screen so you can hook up anything you want to see. You'll need to wire this to a 12 volt and ground souce. The monitoring system is called HKS Camp2 and it connects directly on your oem obdII port, you don't need to hook up any 12volts on the camp2, the car will power it through the obd port.

No disc and no software needed.

A little update. I have put 700 miles on my car and things are great. Ran up against a brand new M5 and went toe to toe. It took me on launch a bit but I ran him down on the long end. Car has had no issues yet. Will have some nice pics and review in my journal soon

i am genuinely happy for you that you have no issues with your kit... however, i am hoping your stories about running on cars are all at the track and not road racing because otherwise you are just being irresponsible and just plain stupid... also you're not really proving any point about the performance of the kit by doing so... in any case, it would be awesome if you can update us on your plans on getting the old pulley and if you are able to finally reach your desired hp/tq numbers
