nope,
just tired of the waiting game...who say's they are close? they say the same thing every week....oh, we are learning a lot this week...no promises, no ETA...the fact it is very difficult to get in touch with them or even get a follow up with them. The time that my car has been there communication has been very poor. Random issues since my car was there first was the cable that didnt get to them for 2 and half weeks. Than saying my one of my TB was bad and had to get replaced and than now their main issue with tuning. I know Stillen is busy but every other week they take off somewhere leaving me without answers or follow up to let me know how my car is. I am very, very disappoint with Stillen especially since they are a big name that they would have came through the second time around with G/Z crowd.

I will find out by the end of the week if they will give me a full refund. The only miles i have put on the supercharger is back and forth to to the shop that i got my work done at. Im tired of being strung along. Good luck to everyone else i hope they figure it out soon.

Ok, so wifedrivens numbers are 368hp 279tq on a mustang dyno with stillens SC kit. Best numbers ive see NA so far on a mustang is 324/250(someone actually made 330+hp but could have been a fluke). So for 8-10 grand you get an extra 40hp and 30tq give or take. I realize elevation, temps, etc all are variables in this equation. But seriously.... 8-10grand for what?

To be fair, can you post the dyno sheets.

Search Semtex profile. I believe he has his dyno sheets up, and was one of the 320+ rwhp members. Also RCZ was at 310 before his SC. personally im at 300/233 on the stock tune on a mustang dyno. For me it would be a gain of 60hp and 30tq give or take a few (once im tuned) or 70/40 if i retain stock tune.

Anyone with a better dyno than mine that can post up?

Meh i posted my own, with factory tune... and the difference is less and 70hp and 50 tq (even less when uprev tuned). However, as others have stated this is not the way to compare. Really the only one i know that would have all 3 would be someone like RCZ. He has, baseline dyno, bolt on dyno and SC dyno.

If this was a valid comparison, i would have to say 70hp and 50tq is a lot! especially on a mustang dyno. Im just not convinced its price to power ratio is were i want it to be. If i was a pure baller, throwing hundies in the air cause i can. Then maybe..

I posted my before and after Supercharger dyno in this thread, post #976. Here's the dyno:

I post my before and after bolt-ons on a thread in the tuning section, because I had my car tuned by technosquare and posted it to show people how the Z does with an 8,100 rpm redline. Dyno charts are in the thread (June 09) I gained 27 hp with g3 intakes, headers, cats, exhaust (stock tune). I gained 42 hp total over baseline with bolt-ons and tuning. The baseline run on the before/after supercharger was with the ECU set back to stock tune. The super charger added 108 hp and that 108 hp gain is very real and you will never, ever come close to that with bolt-ons.

It wasn't however, as much as Stillen advertised with their press car, so I forced the issue and took my car back. Unless Kyle comes up with a "the sky is falling" story, My car should be done tomorrow or next week at the latest.

Awesome news, but you have cause to be frustrated in the first place. Definately let us know how she feels when you get her back!

Not to say I told you so...but.

My STI was down because it was a completely custom rotated big turbo setup. It was all experimental, however, the point of my comment was that my patience was eventually rewarded.

With regards to the dyno's. I made 310whp on the mustang when it was cold outside. I made 295 on the same dyno when the weather warmed up. This was on full bolton's + tune. Now with the weather significantly hotter than either of those pulls, my SC made 380ish on that dyno. I have NO doubt I can do a 400whp run in cooler weather and a less heatsoaked car.

In other words, I wanted to chime in about the gains over full boltons and tune. I think that in comparable conditions, my car has gained about 80-100whp on a mustang dyno. Thats 100whp over bolt-on's power and 140-160whp over stock. (I baselined 240whp).

How does that translate into the more common dynojet? Well I never did a baseline on a dynojet... but the accepted average baseline number is ~275whp for a stock 370z. I dynoed in at 455whp on my SC'd dyno pull that I did a few weeks ago. DO the Math thats 180whp over stock assuming a 275whp baseline.

Now, make what you will of those results. I tend to trust Mustang Dynos much more than I trust dynojets. Either way, I will GLADLY take either one of those gains. It's not all that surprising that my tune yields what it does. Its a custom tune + headers + HFC + exhaust. I have a light flywheel and lightened pulley. Oh and 93 Octane gas vs. that crap they have out in california. Everything adds up.
