I must say I am very pleased to see how happy people are when they are getting there cars back after installation. Grats to the ones who have the kit and love it. Also grats to the guys at stillen for making a good kit.

Josh or kyle do you think you can upload the instruction, I am curious to see how involved the install is since my budy is considering in getting this kit or the GTM. Seems like both kits are a major win here. thanks
Frank

The wife is driving the car now, but I will get my hand on it very soon. I am currently in Iraq and for some reason the military will not let me bring my car over here. But they are nice enough to let me ride in MRAPS... I mean who does not like to drive in an armored car?

It will do all that for just 700 bucks. But it does look like it will just plug into the Nav system. That will be nice.

Hey Josh, I was wondering about the high compression ratio we have on these cars, and if lowering it would help the reliability of the kit or if it doesn't matter with this kit?

She may not want to give it back to you when you get back. Keep safe there.

I would not worry about it. When developing their tune, they factored in the higher compression ratio, and tuned the ignition timing accordingly.

It's still trickier to tune a boosted engine with high compression pistons because you can get uneven heat distribution along the piston crown due to the design... hence, the potential for hot spots, and thus more prone to detonation in general... also, one wonders how meaty the OEM ringlands are...

All that said, these motors seem pretty stout, so with a good tune and the right octane it should be fine at this power level...

Actually, has anyone managed to destroy one yet -- is the upper limit known?

Can you use the stock nav as a display screen for the CAMP II, or do you have to buy a seperate screen for it?

I believe Shumby is using the HKS Camp 2 with the G37s nav (basically the same as the 370z), though you have to do the video bypass because from factory it will not let you "play video" with the car moving.
