I totally agree with you travisjb. An experienced mechanic wont charges you for actual labor hours.
But he would (or should) still charge you for one hour of labor to put together whats in the picture. Because an experienced mechanic would take him under 30 min of actual labor time, and 1 hour that's double the time. lets say he will ask for triple that would be 1:30 hour. 2-3 hour that's a rip off.
