It looks like the shop told you are up against for the known problem. Once that's fixed get ready to chase other build gremlins. As stated above, be prepared to go down rabbit holes.

yeah ill give it a miss, if bits of something has gone through the oil enough to block the filter in the head its probably damaged the bearings and scored the bore and probably has bits stuck in the oil cooler and god knows what yeah that can be somebody else drama
