Ocala, Fl Wannagofast 1/2 mile event, Oct 19th and 20th.

No, we didn’t get the cancellation notification until we were past the point of turning back, got there at 12:30 and the ******* working the gate wouldn’t let us in to check for spooler even though we had pit crew passes/tickets. So, thew a hale Mary and went to the Hilton hotel that was the sponsor hotel for the event in the remote chance he would be there, no dice, I pmd him at that time but never heard back.

All was not lost however, wife and I found out jeeptoberfest is going on this weekend at Ocala as well, apparently this is an annual thing, so hopefully we’ll be able to attend one year, it’s full up this year for the trail riding. Lots of cool rigs out and about, my hand hurts from all the waving.

It is beautiful up there though, we could def see ourselves on a small homestead of a couple acres and big 8 car garage out back etc.

Edit: just double checked my pms, I must’ve not sent a pm this afternoon when we got to the hotel, oops, I remember talking about it with wifey, must’ve just forgot to actually do it, derp.
