I just looked at Radiums site. They have everything I need to convert it.
|
I just ordered the PVC replacement fittings from CJ-Motorsports, aka Phunk, to delete my PVC valves so I can dump my catch cans to atmosphere.
I have emailed Radium to see if I can get everything I need. Otherwise I will buy a new catch can that vents to atmosphere. I have my eye on a new one. |

It's always such a cool thing when I get super busy, gone for a few weeks and get to come back to reading multiple pages of content in here! haha, wife is asleep next to me in bed so can't watch the video yet, almost tempted to go in the other room :D
Let us know how the Motec goes! Will be nice to get a review of them side by side, from bull to race horse is more than likely. lol I both love and hate this thread, awesome to see, but gives me more sh1t that I tell myself I need! |

Y'all are the main reason my Z is up and running. I was sick of spending money buying parts and not driving the damn thing. And I was worried that I'd do something dumb like buy a TT kit :rofl2:
So I offer a sincere thanks :tiphat: |

If you drive around on Ignite Red in the cold weather expect a little stumble in the low rpm if you get on it. The cylinder temps need to come up. It is solved by just downshifting it to a lower gear. Just one of the little issues with E90. Pump E85 is not an issue.

Just another tidbit.

I have been checking my catch cans regularly. I never got anything in the warm weather. Since it has turned cold I have been seeing it register on the drivers side catch can. When I drain it, it is mostly water with very little oil. Smells like stinky Ethanol. Yuk!!! No doubt it is pulling moisture out of the engine from the colder temps. Makes me wonder if this is what caused my first engine to blow a headgasket due to detonation because my crazy butt drives it all year long. My old setup I forgot all about the catch cans. Time to change it to atmospheric dumps.

I have just about made my mind up to convert over to a SOHO catch can setup and sell my Radium catch cans. It is going to be much easier. I will have to convert my pressurized tank to Non pressurized and change the radiator cap.

If someone wants to go in with me on the SOHO cast Intake, we can get a better deal. How much. I don't know. It depends on how many folks we can get in on it.

I was looking into either using the ARC combo can or the Admintuning Combo Can. The arc mostly because it looks so nice.
EDIT: I've been looking for plenum upgrade. Not really interested in the AAM. But I was eyeing the GTR adapter. Didn't know about this SOHO version, what do you think the approx price would be? |

There are now 3 of us together to get the SOHO Cast Intake manifold. Do we have a 4th?

Here you go. I am looking for a aluminum manifold that doesn't loose any power over the stock manifold. It is not as astatically pleasing as the CJ Motorsports one but I do not want to cut my car and do a ton of mods to make it fit plus relocate everything else.
|
Now we have 5 people interested. 3 for sure, two up in the air wanting to know price. I contacted the 6th and haven't heard back yet.
|
We are now at 6, waiting on the 7th to respond. If anyone is interested, this will be a one time deal unless you can get this many people lined up all at once again.
