You getting straight pipes so you can put your rear diffuser on? Mine is still sitting in the box from Vortex.

You are a bad influence. I guess we can blame Josh for all of this. LOL

The two people that have influence me and my wallet the most are Josh and Rusty. They have done it and keep doing it right. So I just copy what they have done and added a few twist of my own. Even with their influence I have had to do so many things several times to get it right or find out that I don't need said mod. I is a constant money dump and labor of love. A somebody said....I will be done on the first of Never!

Thank you.:tiphat: Glad to be a bad influence.

Give me your credit card. I'll buy what parts I think you need.

My Z is one of my hobbies.

I hear ya. I have a 3 day weekend, my diff cooler is going on the car. I will be doing the wiring differently. I refuse to push a switch. I am setting mine up to run off of a thermostat/relay.

You have the stock diff cover. So that shouldn't be an issue with using the hoses that came with it. You going to put the temp sensor in a hose? If you do. It will take longer for the heat to reach it, then having it installed in the diff cover.

I have the Z1 cover. The temp sensor is at the fitting on the bottom hose. I just have to adjust what temp the cooler comes on. No worries. I have
the same type setup on my Dually's tranny cooler. Works like a charm.

With the Z1 cover. You planning on using the top or bottom side port? For the drain port, you using a banjo fitting? Anything else is iffy for ground clearance if you are lowered. You have to watch out for the supply hose routing with the FI exhaust cans. The front of the cooler bracket comes rel close to the cans. I had to rout my hose to the center of the bracket to get it away from the can.

Spooler 05-24-2018 11:41 AM

I will be using the bottom side port. All the hoses came with my kit for the Z1 cover. The bottom one is a banjo fitting from what I remember.
I need to go back and check everything. I will be placing an order with Pegusus for additional stuff if needed. I use them also.

At what temp is the senor set for?

I will have to look. It came with the kit. I need to see if it has a potentiometer on it to adjust also. If not, I will order what I normally use.

Guess I will need to call them to make me a set when they do yours. LOL It's cheaper for the customer if you do them in bulk. LOL

Back in the day; Kenworth used an illuminated rocker switch in the dash (2 position).
Down was automatic & up was manual....it illuminated when the fan would come on automatic or illuminated when flipped up to manual.
That's on the old Horton or Bendix air release clutch fans.

Spooler 05-29-2018 09:49 AM

I ordered my relay kit from Summit. I hope to have time to deal with it this weekend coming.

Spooler 05-29-2018 06:54 PM

I ordered a Zspeed Nismo undertray today. Need to repair the tree limb damage from the Dragon.

Lol, you should have done that a long time ago. My plastic under tray useless once I got boosted and stated running her hard. It would never stay buttoned up and I wore a big *** hole in it. Between my Zspeed under tray and my aluminum splitter I ain't afraid to scraping at all!

Let's just say I still get a heck of deal on parts at where I use to work. The one little bottom piece was still high as hell. $268 for everything. Na, I am not paying that for a 2nd time and have this happen again. So, I placed my order.

Spooler 06-11-2018 12:04 PM

Still waiting on the machine shop. Fighting the temptation of turning the car into a race car because race cars are no fun to drive on the street. Been there done that before and long term I was not very happy.

LOL, I totally enjoy driving it. After TT's I am going to enjoy it even more. I don't care to get a boring Daily Driver. Even my truck has some serious mods to it. I just have to be careful what I do not to ruin a good thing. It is very hard for me to park a car and drool over it like some do. I want to
drive the wheels off of it. :)

Hotrodz 06-11-2018 04:05 PM

Then suck it up cupcake and drive that bitch!. I don't think mine is all that unruly to drive. I just like driving my truck as well and I don't get people being stupid because it's a sportscar. Sometimes living in a small town has its drawbacks.

Yeah it does. Same here. LOL I want a front splitter, carbon fender vents, and a big WANG too. I am going to need it.

Forgot the parachute so I can come to a stop at work. :)

Machine Shop Estimate is 3-4 more weeks. It is what it is. I want their work to be perfect so I will never rush a machine shop. I am good with it. Thank goodness for buying a used long block to build off of or this would have sucked. I have DSS Pro axles to install and a MA Diff cooler to install. Plenty to keep me busy.

Good attitude and the only one to have with this kind of build.

Yes, he was local to me.

Well, I gotta install some A/C in my garage. It's freaking hot/humid here. That time of the year and I don't feel like doing squat outside.

Spooler 06-25-2018 08:20 PM

I had the dreaded dead pedal on the way home again today. I had only 1/4 throttle. Shut it off and restart, same thing. I wiggled the drivers side throttle body wires. Fixed. I either have a bad connection, broke harness, or a cold solder joint inside the throttle body. Never kicked out a code. I would love to have had a Consult II/III to look at it so I could see exactly what was going on. I hope I get to see these type parameters with Ecutek.

Rusty 06-25-2018 08:36 PM

Hmmmm wonder what's going on.
