58mm class are running 8’s in the quarter mile, believe few have touched 7’s if I’m not mistaken, they are running a motec Ecu. I don’t care what Any tuner says, these cars need a dry sump, our system down right sucks! Capacity is about as bad as the 2jz. A stand alone Ecu is a must for anything building a track or straight line car, motorsport TC is a must, Ecu is a good patch, stock Ecu doesn’t have the capacity to do what is really needed.

I know of a few 1200whp GTRs and miss hanging out with Joe "The Mad Scientist" at ZDAYZ. I think is at 2200whp or something stupid now.

My reference was to the two 370z that I know that 1000whp on a FI kit. I think Justin's was the only one that made it to the track once.

I am not sure what turbo's those are but they are a hybrid stock turbo for sure. I see they have what appears to be internal wastegates on the exhaust housings.

I almost forgot. Seb has been modifying the intake tube to the turbo size to a 3in. diameter and changing the AFE filter to 3in. He left the other pipes at 2.5in. from the turbo to the intercooler. I am not sure
what that gains him.

I believe it did move the top end a little and lower temps some. It did enough that he did the same setup for my build!

With all the brake ducts and other stuff up there this will be like cramming 10lbs of crap in a 2lb bag. Ugg.

The new CJ Motorsports Motec map sensor upgrade is moving on along. I can't wait for the car to get back on the dyno to see what improvements I get.
