Flex fuel is the way to go. You enjoying the new power? I'm also having a Quaife lsd installed while it's there and also taking out my 4.08's and going back to the 3.69's.

Haven't picked up the car yet. getting it this coming Friday. I'm having an extra resonator attached to the exhaust to reduce drone.

So close... So first of all, stupid question but where do I plug in the VGA style cable from the wideband sensor? I sent Seb a rough idle log I’m sure he’s going to be like “WTH is this?” With no a/f except from O2 sensors.
We got the car idling and it ran super rich sounding like an old american muscle car being started up for the first time in 20 years. We played around with the fuel pressure—it started up originally at 72psi we thought it ran best around 45psi. Guy on twin turbos with stock (or at least smaller injectors) is running 65psi so i should need lower than that for the 1050x injectors.
Hopefully I can’t do too much damage on the motor idling at 400rpms. Damn push button start i just tried to turn on accessory to show my innovate gauge (at least ethanol content seems about right) and of course out of habit pushed in the clutch and the damn car started up! Car ran for a second or two longer after i immediately tried to turn it off—must be the RFS.
Waiting to hear from Seb what to do. Not sure how this flex fuel tuning works. Highly unlikely but perhaps the base tune i have is meant to be on ethanol? Haven’t really got much of an explanation of how it works, tuning the subaru the guys send you a damn bible how everything goes

Worth the wait, you're going to love it. Smart move on the extra resonators. I was running test pipes with my fi cbe with 18" resonators also and it got really loud and had a lot of drone after my sc install. I recently added fi lead pipes with 100 cell mil spec cats and motordyne art pipes. It's so much better. Rasp fromtest pipes is gone and drone is almost completely gone. I can actually drive with the windows down now.

Interested to know why you are going back to the 3.69 diff ratio?

I was going to do the quaife when I did this, but I wanted to wait to see how the 4.08s do with all that power first. Though it'll be evne more extreme when I do e85....

Wow....11psi with the 9pb pulley..::What kind of exhaust are u running? Do U still have ur stock cats on?

TopgunZ 06-03-2018 07:15 AM

My kit ships with the upgraded Si trim impeller. These kits make 11 psi out of the box.

Being boosted, first gear is basically useless. Just too low for that kind of power. Second gear requires a lot of feathering of the throttle.

Is the Si Trim impeller better, similar, or worse than the 928 impeller?
Anyone know? or have ideas?
