Hey guys!

My car is slowly being put back together..

A couple issues I ran into:
1) I lost my modded high pressurized overflow tank... anyone know where I can get another one or the part number for it?
I have the 2009 model 370z that is going to be the new body instead of the 2015 which was the Z that was wrecked.
Apparently the 09 model - 11 models don't have the pressurized coolant reservoir...

Anyone have ideas on how I could get around this to fit the TopgunZ A2A kit properly or nah?

2) No idea where the PCV lines right under the throttle bodies led...can't remember!

3) I don't know how, for the life of me, to remove the 2009 rusted ancient dinosaur fossilized demon bolts from the cat to the headers...lol. I need that cat but to get it I must remove those bolts. Any ideas to get it removed?

PS -- Is it possible to run this kit without an overflow tank in case I can't find one, ever again? T_T I have a regular overflow tank (not pressurized and not modded either) but I guess that one won't work?

Please and thank you for answers / ideas / tips / advice , etc.

Dang. Hecka lot. I actually found one on Z1 just a few minutes ago for $80 something haha.

Can order the late or earlier models too as an option for no cost extra.

I suppose there's no way around this but to get another one huh? Haha

I believe it's just the opposite. The 9lb (2.75) pulley which is the jackshaft pulley on the serpentine side is smaller than the 8lb (3.12) pulley. If you look at the signature of "stillenz84", post at the top of the page, he's running a 9lb (which would be the jackshaft on the serpentine side), a 2.85 sc pulley and a 3.47 jackshaft (that would have to be the jackshaft on the supercharger side). That's how I read it anyway, I could be wrong.

Getting back to the 3.20. I called Stillen and they tried telling me it was a vortech pulley. You can tell by the design of it that it looks nothing like a vortech pulley. It looks more to me like a magnuson pulley.

After reading your post again, the jackshaft pulley I was talking about is the one on the sc side (opposite the serpentine side jackshaft pulley). That's the one I'm replacing with a high traction. My serpentine side doesn't have any belt slip.

When I measured my 9psi pulley I bought form ConceptZ, it came out to be 2.87" instead of 2.75"?
Where do you guys get this 2.75" 9psi pulley from that goes on the jackshaft serpentine side?

Also.

I see 928 offers the sur-grip for their pulleys but has anyone actually tried it for a DD?
I would assume it makes belt dust since it would eat up your belt making the belt's life span shorter in the long run no?
Yeah they claim to make your pulleys life last longer but probably at the cost of the belt I'd assume?
Or does it not make much of any dust over time?

The 9lb pulley is a 2.87

Your second question I answered in the PM you sent me. Other's might want to comment on their experience with them.

Thanks.

Just wasn't sure cause I saw evan's post say his was like 2.75 or something and I am pretty sure I saw another post saying it was less than 2.87 lol

Just stay with the 2.87.

Agreed. I am also curious about the source of the 2.75 one. SOHO may sell the (2.75) pulley/belt combo but it is barely needed to have a smaller one like that if you stay with V-3. The 3.47/3.0/2.87 will get you way out of its compressor efficiency. I did ask my friend to customize a 2.8 serpentine side jackshaft pulley for me just in case, though!

CupcakeZ you can PM me if you still want a smaller one like mine (custom 2.8). I may never have chance to actually use it.

I need all the pulleys according to my map sensors im only making 4.5lbs of boost even though when we put an analog gauge on the vacuum line or dyno it says 7.8lbs i can tell my low boost is driving seb nuts

I'll PM you for the 2.8"

I might try a 3.6" Jackshaft SC and a 2.8" direct SC pulley

Should you use 3.6/2.8 supercharger side combo paired with my custom 2.8 serpentine side jackshaft pulley you will overspin your head unit to about 71500 RPM. This is highly likely to get you up to 20ish psi.. Are you sure you want to do this?

I believe he want's to use your custom 2.8 for the sc side but still use the 9lb (2.87) on the serpentine side. He'd still see close to 70000 rpm.

The number of rib is different for the pulleys at different sides. I haven't tried putting mine on the supercharger side. I doubt the 8-rib SC belt can fit it.

On the calculator from vortech website regarding v2 and v3?...
It asks for number of teeth
You guys ignore this and just put diameter anyways or?

Cuz we dont have teeth on the pulleys we use, we have ribs, right? And typical 8 rib pulleys on both sc belt side and serp belt side? Or im wrong?
