I've given up all hope on this fantasy supercharger/hood.
Maybe there will be more luck in resurrecting Gamma/GTM supercharger kits before RJ MFG ever gets a supercharger kit to market. I liked the Rotrex supercharger kit and hope it makes a come back one day. With better customer service and a few tweaks; it has the potential to be a great kit. |

RJM just got the new Whipple AX175 V3 in for final testing. The new unit is much more efficient and they will be trying new pulleys. Once this is complete the final parts list will be compiled, pricing set and numbers released for both Power and pricing.
A pre-order will be set as well once the numbers have been finalized. RJM has gone through several small revisions on the kit and havent publicized them as they are working to make this kit reliable, meets expectations, easy to install and budget friendly. The kit will come with a Tune for both Ecutek and Uprev. It will be a tune that you can run on 91 or 93 octane. It will be set for 500+whp out of the box. The goal is to maintain a 4 hour install time with hand tools in a garage with the car on the ground. |
All the updates including pictures of the new supercharger are on facebook.

Any idea if this is going to be CARB legal or nah? Since it's so close to being done I'm wondering if I should still go through with the 928 motorsports upgrade or not on the current V3 SCi head unit T_T I'm having a mobile mechanic come today to isolate the blower from the engine bay and bracket so I could send it in to 928 for the upgrade lol. Either way, I will definitely pre order this whipple xD I think the v7 head unit idea I had a while ago is out the window for now :D |

As for CARB legal. Yes they will be persuing CARB status for the kit. This was one of the hurdles they were facing and changes being made to accomodate. they will release non CARB first and then CARB version after independent CARB testing and approval. |
4 hour install time?! Wow

This is super exciting. What do you guys think the ballpark pricing will be? xD |

Is that including the required hood? If not, cost on that plus paint?

So we are talking TT pricing. I realize this can be installed with out pulling the motor suppost to be able to be done in ones garage, but still!

Fully CNC Parts *Not CAST* Fuel System (injectors and pumps) Supercharger able to scale to 1000hp+ Intercooler and heat exchanger able to support 1000hp+ Waterpump that will support 1000hp+ and last longer than 100k miles All high end components and parts And a tune! With $10.5k TT kit you get a base kit with no fuel and no tune and no additional options.Plus you have 20 to 40+ hours of install time at $100+ an hour. and not capable of hitting 1000hp+. |
So we have dyno results now! WOOT..PICS!!!!

lol. those parts are rated to 1000+ but is that in WHP or crank HP terms :o

They have not released any numbers yet. Everything is spec’d for the end user not to have to rebuild the kit if they want to go big. The new 175ax V3 has already proven itself capable enough to flow the required CFM to make 1000hp+. The intercooler was designed in conjunction with bell intercooler a for applications reaching 1200whp+. The heat exchanger also from bell intercoolers was codesigned to support 1200whp+. The meizere water pump is 100% billet and spec’d to support up to 1000whp+.
No one has posted any final numbers on the kits capabilities. The new V3 was purchased specifically because of its added efficiency. The unit in the picture is a High Pressure unit capable of well over 20psi. With the right engine setup there is no question in my mind that it will hit 1000hp+. There is already a car at RJM getting the stage 2 kit once testing is done. Fully built motor and 7at trans! The car already has the suspension setup for drag racing. |
Wish this would of been a rotrex kit... it probably would have been done by now

The new Rotrex C38R actually looks pretty nice. I believe it's a direct replacement for people with the GTM kits.

Not exactly related, but how many years in advance do you need to book zdayz? The wife tried to book us in July and everything on site was booked already.

Do you know a price for the upgrade on the 7A yet, or what all it entails?
