$5500 only....

Do you know the specs of the completed upgrade?
I know level10 maximum transmission build supports up to 1000 WHP, and between 1200 - 1400 lbs torque.

Does RJM offer it to anyone or only when you buy other RJM upgrades?

Like for example:
FI doesnt offer 7AT upgrade unless you buy their Twin Turbo package lol

wideglideleon 04-19-2018 06:32 PM

I am paying $6000 for very low 1700 mile trans they have ready to build for me, shipped to AZ and installed by my mechanic, trans is the 1000 HP version from level 10. I went with a low mile trans from level 10 they had so I wouldn't have down time and can sell my used trans.

cupcakez 04-19-2018 06:51 PM

By 1000 hp version of level10, you mean it also has the 1200-1400 tq capacity as well then.

Thats a good price if it is those specs.
$6000 vs $7300 from Level10 for same specs.

And anyone can buy this or you also are getting some upgrades from RJM that they also offer this to you?

I don't know the torque spec's, my friend owns turning ratchets garage and he is a dealer for Level 10 and got me a great deal with the upgrade to 1000 Hp build for no extra cost as a package deal with the whole trans .

cupcakez 04-19-2018 07:19 PM

Oh I see.
Thanks for your input!
Ill do some research and ask RJM on their torque specs for maximum 7AT build and how much it cost.

bullitt5897 04-19-2018 08:50 PM

I know what level ten does to their transmissions and honestly people are over paying big time! Not to mention there is already a waiting list for this trans build. RJM has increased the plate count by 12!!!! 6 additional steel plates and 6 additional carbon plates! Billet triple disk tq convertor is optional. The level tens have already proven to not hold for high hp applications (real world).

Okay. So what you are saying is that the RJM AT build is better than level10 by a lot of ways and also cheaper?

If so, Ill contact RJM and see how much it would cost for them to ship their best built AT to me :D

Where did you get this information from? Is it listed on their site? 1200 to 1400 lbs of torque sounds a bit embellished . I spoke to them on the phone over a year ago and they were saying 500wtq. max so unless something has changed immensely I doubt they have almost tripled the strength. Which doesn't even seem possible with this trans.

370Z TRANSMISSION,370Z TRANSMISSION UPGRADE,LEVEL10 370Z,370Z VALVE BODY,370Z TORQUE CONVERTER,370Z TORQUE CONVERTER UPGRADE

"The Bulletproof 370Z package is rated to 700HP and can be built up to 1000HP."

Which is estimating around 500 to 700TQ@7500 I highly doubt they can double that number too.

I spoke to them over the phone last week.
The lady picked up and she asked them for me and when I asked "What is the mximum torque your maximum best built 370z AT can hold?" she replied
"12 - 14" and I was like uh......1200 to 1400 pounds of torque? She goes yes.
I said and this is for the maximum transmission build you guys do for the 370z automatic transmissions?
She said yes.

Maybe someone else try giving them a call and see what she / they say.
Believe me... I find it really hard to believe too.

TopgunZ 04-20-2018 08:47 AM

I spoke directly to the owner/mechanic that does the builds. I think his name is Tony?? He seemed like a very nice guy and was being very honest. He said you can throw 700wtq at it but it wont last long at that power level. He said if you want it to last as long as the car then 500wtq is the limit when driving it hard.

I would trust this over the secretary.

Okay. I am willing to believe the 700 wtq number, but not the 1200 - 1400 LOL
I was like wtf....when she told me that. I honestly believe she was thinking HP or something or trying to lie to my face about it, no idea but either case...1200 - 1400 seems way too crazy.

You spoke to them right now? -- Or this was over a year ago when Tony said that?

I'll give them a call later today and ask again... and then ask what parts of the transmission make it hold that much TQ if at all, then report back here!

Thanks for your input topz! Makes me want to re-investigate again.

Earlier this week some photos were posted to the rj Facebook page. They showed the kit partially installed. They've since been taken down, I'm guessing not to spoil the unveil. From what I saw I don't believe the height will be quite as dramatic as I initially thought it may be. Stoked to see the results for this thing!

As long as it doesn't require that transformers looking hood, I'm in. :ughdance:

bullitt5897 04-30-2018 02:35 PM

Your right they pulled the images from facebook as they were having some professional shots done yesterday actually. The demo car will be at zdayz. They made another revision to one of the pulley mounts today and some videos will come prior to zdayz.

bullitt5897 04-30-2018 02:37 PM

In conjunction with the supercharger kit RJM will be debuting their new 7AT program and a few other goodies like a triple plate billet torque convertor! definitely going to be a zdayz you want to attend!

bullitt5897 05-05-2018 07:24 PM

I already ordered Top's SC kit, but this kit sounds like it will be amazing. Good luck and looking forward to seeing reviews from people who get this.

How aggressive would the hood be to cover that? Any updates on a front strut bar

It needs a shaker hood. Something really crazy cool could be made for this.

There's really only one correct option. Exposed supercharger like Mad Max's Police Interceptor.

It made well over 500whp+ on a heart breaker dyno with 5k lb rollers. It also made over 390ftlbs+ from 2k! Rich’s stillen kit only made 420whp and and 310 peak tq on the same dyno.

Final numbers will be released at zdayz.

bullitt5897 05-09-2018 10:11 PM

Stock block and 7at trans. I drove this car this week and it’s a beast!

VQStryker 05-11-2018 02:17 PM

So around Zdays we will hear the final performance output and pricing?

LinPark 05-11-2018 08:23 PM

Is it just me or does that look like it is sitting alot higher than expected?
