Just posting what I assume the source is. And saying maybe he would want to clear it up for anyone on fb unless he doesn’t want to go through fb anymore.

Has anyone who bought the kit receive a different intercooler besides the treadstone picutured in the instruction manual. And if so we're the IC inlets a different size than the couplers received??

Yes I’ve seen them with the treadstone imprint - 2.5” outlets, and without the logo with 3” outlets. They are essentially the same thing you just need a 3.0 - 2.5 coupler to attach the intakes if I’m not mistaken. Email Sasa for further advice prob included the wrong couplers by accident

Boosted Performance 10-23-2017 03:31 PM

The new intercoolers have a common dual outlet side to equalize the flow to the two TB's. When I had these casting made, I did not want the Treadstone logo on the end tanks.

If you look at the Treadstone website these are only available in a 3" inlet, and 2.5" outlet. With the kit, all the ports are 3".

Perhaps I should have had them make the castings with a BP logo...

jwick 10-23-2017 03:44 PM

There’s a BP logo now?

Nope just no logo at all on the newest ones. He was just saying he is thinking about it

Add this to your list of crap to do Sasha. It'll be nice to have people see the logo to rep the brand and know the source of the airplane sounds.

These kits will also be available at a shop near you :) :)

There has been about 5 shops that have contacted me directly and have expressed a great amount of interest for being/obtaining dealer status. That is where the 30 kits come in.

Any chance one would be in the Midwest?

It's a pain in the a$$ to get those silicone couplers on the Intercooler by the way. I think the Intercooler and the IC piping gave me the biggest headache

Just be thankful you didn’t get a V1 kit. The charge pipe on the turbo was a bitch. The routing now is much easier.

I second this. The V1 kit was a pain in the a$$ to get the charge pipe from the turbo to the intercooler connected.

I'm installing the fuel pump now but the inlet for the pump is smaller than the fuel pump strainer. Has anyone else run across this?

Did you ever get a solution to your Intercooler issue? I saw Sasha explaining the different sizes, but nothing about what you/he needed to do to fix it.

I did he sent me the correct sized couplers

SwissCheese 10-25-2017 10:01 PM

What's the estimated number of hours for install on this kit nowadays? I'm trying to get a ballpark estimate on how much it would cost to have a shop install it.

For all the components that come in the kit, a shop should most definitely not charge more than $1,500.

I think the V2 should be in the $1,250 range.

Did Sasha reply? I see he has replied to a different question since you asked this one. Would be nice if public questions got public responses and not PM's or emails if that's what is happening.

He replied and said that's the fuel pump he sends to everyone and never got an email saying anything about. I just wanna know from any of the guys/gals that's installed the kit is the oem strainer to the new fuel pump suppose to be looser than how it was on the own fuel pump? Because with the oem pump you had to use a flathead to pop it off now you can turn it upside down and it damn near falls off. So im confused shouldn't it be just as tight?

James10694 10-31-2017 04:14 PM

Did you try Charles at CJM? He can definitely help you with fuel problems.

James10694 10-31-2017 04:15 PM

Forgot I took this one

Wow, looks like I will be very busy here.

The work orders will be worked on over the next couple of days and sent to you for review via email. The work order will also have payment instructions, and other details specific to your kits.

Thank you very much for the outstanding support. It is greatly appreciated.

Boosted Performance 11-04-2017 08:31 PM

Production of 12 kits has started, all the cutting should be done by the end of tomorrow. Then the fun time starts with assembly and welding.

This is as much as I can handle at this time, so there will not be a chance to place an order until the end of January 2018.

I hope this kit is in production in like a year from now. I am saving for it starting now. I also heard many good things about this kit. How much boost is safe on the stock automatic transmission? I plan on upgrading the tranny to level 10.

Oh that's a shame. I really don't want a manual.
