Well since I gave Frandy almost a month to post his results from the Air to Air kit, I am just going to leave this here...
538whp DJ on stillen fuel system plus meth. Yes, if you go meth you can leave the stillen fuel components in and get past 525whp! |
I have two questions:
How do you remove the aftercooler? The plate in the front, and the whole deal slides out? And secondly, (this might be a silly question) has anyone attempted to run both the A2W and A2A? |

The aftercooler in the manifold will be hotter than the air coming into it from the A2A intercooler, so you would be warming up the already cooler air. Not to mention its a restriction. Dont do it.

When I removed the cooler in the intake manifold I had to loosen the bolts on the intake manifold and tilt it up to allow the cooler to completely slide out. Otherwise it would only slide out a couple of inches before hitting the engine. THIS WAS NOT FUN! There are three bolts under the intake manifold (on the throttle body side, one at the front is easy to see, the one in the middle and other at the back you can barely see if you are at eye level with the engine. Maybe one of those inspection cameras on a wire would be helpful). Stillen provides a wrench with their kit to get to these bolts, but after a few years and the car changing owners blah blah blah I am sure most people do not have this wrench. I had to cut up and re-weld one. Good luck mane, with some perseverance and a lot of cursing stillen's design team you will get it.

Yes, definitely do it before you put your manifold on.

What are people using to get to these bolts Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk |
I'm glad that I kept my wrench that came with the Stillen Kit. Even with that wrench it's still a PITA. I can only begin to imagine the frustration having to remove the manifold and not having the wrench that comes with the kit.

We got a cheap wrench and torched and hammered the bend in it.

Im at a stand still..... directions state to use 45 off supercharger. When you insert L pipe and bend to match up to blowoff valve it collapses the 45..... A 90 coupler would fit perfect....what am i missing????

TopGunz are you on camaro5?

Topgunz...... what can i say
Well after some minor modifications all is installed and works perfectly. Evidently nissan has changed a few things on the 2016. Lets call it the cuss and throw your tools around the shop changes. Topgunz looked at all the pictures going to make a few minor changes for the new car. Let him know what year your care is.
All in all. I love it. Between the air to air and the supercharger. What a blast to drive! Sorry for all the questions Aaron but you have a solid product!! |
