I was thinking about that. Wasn't sure on the IC dimensions being the same seeing as its specific for their kit.

FI crash bar fits with the FMIC some of the Stillen guys used with the air-2-air modification but as far as I know, no one has tried it with the BP kit.

I know Jay(sn:spec jay) ordered one and is test fitting it on the 370z. If it doesn't fit, we plan to make a full tubal front

Is there a DIY page for the BP V 2.0 Turbo kits. Just curious is all.

There's a public posted "installation manual" made by the manufacturer himself :D Doesn't get much better then that sir!

For whatever reason, the FMIC manufacturer has some slight inconsistencies with the mounting hole locations. The jigs I use for these brackets make all the brackets 100% the same.

Sorry for the inconvenience that this may be causing. The brackets are 304 stainless, so they are not easy to drill, so if possible, try to elongate the FMIC mounting holes instead as it is a much softer material.

Ok I'll try that thanks. As for the fuel rails, they just needed a good tug.

Haha well looks like day one is over. Oil cooler/pan/lines done except for the sensor (couldn't get that bugger off) injectors installed, turbo manifold bolted on, intake manifold tapped, and pump harness wired up.
I tried to change the spark plugs but no one had the right socket. Thank god for the gf to take me to work :)

Damn nice work for day 1. I'm definitely taking longer than you lol. What's so special about the socket. I haven't got to that point yet.

TheWeez 04-06-2016 01:45 PM

It's a thin walled 14mm that is rare. Turbo mounted this morning :) Going to have to wait until Sunday to finish because of work.
