The beauty of the V2.0, that compressor cover :yum:
|
Is the compressor cover ceramic coated? Looks fantastic, been contemplating doing that as well for protection from the overall elements.

Not ceramic coated. It is the standard finish on the PTE turbos's.

I too thought of ceramic coating instead of heat wrapping... Shopping around south Florida to see the price range.

Ceramic coating does not work as well as wrap as far as protecting things from radiant heat off the turbo and piping. Definitely wrap even if you get it ceramic coated. I just went with coating at first and some of the wiring harnesses near the downpipe got a little crispy before I wrapped them. |
I now have kits in stock, ready to ship.

Just wondering if this is how you prep the turbo for install (clocked correctly and parts in correct order) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
BP V 2.0 turbo kits...ROUND 3 place your order now
My turbo feed line was 180deg from yours. I assume the return tank is attached to the bottom?
Edit - I see Sasha has added a 90 to the feed line fittings so you might be able to get away with that rotation. Don't worry too much about getting it clocked perfect. You can clock it in place. |
Yes that's correct. Thanks again!
