Haha I might need to. I'm sure I can fix it. Loving the kit no matter what blips I hit.

It's all done and tuned. Just leaking a bit. If you have access to a lift I'll come over this weekend

That might be your problem. You don't want much torque on them. Like a qrt to half turn after snug. The first time I use one I clamp it down and then unscrew it completely and set it again. Sometime you have to knock that anodized coating off it so it'll seal good. |
Thanks! I'll try that. Will oil pour out if i take them off?

Ever tried to put a lil Teflon tape around the fittings?'

I thought that was a no-no with AN fittings? |

You might get some residual come out the line but keep them vertical and it'll me minimum. |

I'm considering Z1 for final and that's a roll from Orlando.

Martin does good work in Tampa. I recommend him

How did he get that much power out of so little boost? Is he running a whole lot of timing? |
You'd have to ask him. I have no idea.

BP V 2.0 turbo kits...ROUND 3 place your order now
Just seems odd you got the same power as guys running 3-4 more psi. I'd love to know what he did differently.

Does Z1 in Tampa have experience with BP and ecutek? I got my kit without uprev and im sourcing ecutek separately. I plan to go E85 and also a 93 tune on demand with a two map setup via ecutek.
6766 T4 Ball Bearing 1.15AR 1150cc Injectors Reading all of the threads it seems the comfortable safe zone upper limit on E85 can be 600HP and 500/550TQ? Some of the recent things that have shown up http://i.imgur.com/lMFHuju.jpg http://i.imgur.com/5sya2QU.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Jha5TOI.jpg http://i.imgur.com/nMYAhgN.jpg http://i.imgur.com/TMUQ4rq.jpg http://i.imgur.com/TjDBkiJ.jpg |
Z1 is in Carrollton Georgia and The other tuner is in Tampa.

If you're planning on doing E85 flex, I hope you have the supporting fuel system to support it including full fuel return, pump upgrade, etc. Tuners, you should be calling yourself as you'll want to know them quite well and history. Your tune is key in any forced induction application. If you're in FL, I would highly recommend taking the car up to Sharif at Forged Performance or Jon at Z1 Motorsports for your tune. They'll take very good car of you and get your A/F right where they need to be. |

Is it possible to pull datalogs with AFR, timing, etc using torque or another OBDII reader app? Since the power you are making is throwing people a little off maybe you can catch a log and post it here so we can all learn from it.. I am probably the worst offender here of not really knowing my tune. I don't even know how much boost I am running. Shameful. |

I live in southern MI I thought I had a good tuner around here but after some recent info I just heard about some of their tunes I'm extremely nervous. I just called dynosty today in Kentucky and they said they only tune boosted 370 with ecutek. It gives them much better valve control than uprev. So could I even possibly drive the car 6 hours to dynosty to get tuned because I'm having some serious doubts about the tuners around here....:/

Keep your foot out of it and you can drive it there. You can drive as far as you want as long as you don't beat on it. |

^^this^^ Being slightly in boost isn't an issue as long as you are WOT beating on it and seeing more than a few pounds of boost. If you have an AFR gauge it should tell you if you are having issues. The base map from Sasha is conservative so you should be fine. |
Driving the car four a few days on the base map is not an issue at all. These maps are well put together.
Just try to stay out of boost, which is not that difficult at all. You can drive 100mph and still be in vacuum, boost is load dependent, not speed dependent. |

I had to cancel due to timing issues w/ a few key components unfortunately. |
