That is an excellent point that I had not thought of. I emailed JTRAN to see if I can get on the phone with the tuner to discuss my options... I'll update when I know!

The owner is the tuner, Johnny. He's tuned my car 5-6 times and always does a good job.

The service I am receiving from JTRAN is outstanding so far. Johnny is going to come to me (ON A HOLIDAY!) to flash the base tune so that we can check for leaks, etc and limp to the shop for the tune.

After I spoke to Amin on Thursday I still, unfortunately, do not have any answers to my tech questions yet.. now 18 days waiting =(. I will post some of them here for ya'lls input... at least, those that aren't directly related to the verbiage in the instructions. My BIL overnight'd the Uprev stuff back to Gamma so I am hopeful they will have my Ecutek cable and license to me in time for the build. I'm going to give them a call this afternoon to check up on everything.

That's a shame, but apparently Gamma did not retain any of the technical staff from GTM. So they're basically selling kits and they can't provide tech support because they didn't think to keep the people who know how all this stuff works on the payroll.

Luckily it cant be too different from the other twin kits on the market, so there's plenty of people here that can help figure things out.

Oh and I agree with Chuck. Post your questions. There are a bunch of us with hands on experience with FI VQ's.
