There are rolling half mile events that have rules like you are talking about but this was a fun event so the rules are meant to keep everyone safe and to be able to compare times. All things considered, Ryan was faster anyway you look at it because he had the higher top speed in a shorter distance.

Exactly what Bob said. The Zr1 took off down the track before your start point. So by the time I started at 40 mph, he was already screaming down the track. So he started sooner, meaning he had longer to go to gain his speed than I did, but did pass the finish line first. However, back at the crowed is where the mph displays and everyone got to see who the true winner was

It was completely mph focused.

Lots of people towards the end started way early to get better times. Unfortunately for me a damn gopro fell off someones car that I hit going 100 mph that damaged my under cover tray, so time to contact Z1 :/

Wow....good thing u didn't damage anything else GeauxTigers. ....hitting an object no matter the size at that speed ain't no joke and can cause some serious damage.

LOL, the only place you can do a 1/2 mile run in Guam would be at the airport and that would put you half across the island

Ha! A road kill POV. It would be awesome, but it would be even better not hitting the damn thing.

New under cover tray from Zspeed is 4-6 weeks out. Sadness. I guess I could drive w/o one for a bit and just be careful what I drive over.
