What you are doing now is what BP said he was going to do later this Spring to his own kit?

Will you be selling the pipes or is it going to be one-off?

JWillis72 10-14-2015 05:14 PM

No I had a local shop do it and have no interest in dealing with that again!

Stillen Air to Air setup

Top, I didn't read your post right. I'm not sure how it comes out the sc as they did that pipe last. I'm going up to the other shop tomorrow and I will get more pics.

It looks like a silicone 90 straight down out of the sc to a metal 90 in this pic to me.

This is the best pic I could get of the hot side. The wires are being moved.

Ok. Yeah I can see the t clamp back there off the sc. It is a 90*.

Have they started it yet?

JWillis72 10-15-2015 12:16 PM

No, trying to schedule the tune for 2nd week of November. The trans should be back around the end of October to the beginning of November but SEMA is the first week of November.

TopgunZ 10-15-2015 02:06 PM

Exciting.

Before you put the front bumper on and button everything up, you should run a recirc hose from the engine bay down to your bpv. Not sure how often you daily your car but if you do you are going to wish the bpv wasn't so loud. This thing will scare people and become annoying to you after a while.

If you decide you don't want it then just pull the hose out later. Its much easier doing it that way then trying to run it with the bumper in the way.

TopgunZ 10-15-2015 02:07 PM

Oh and I just realized your missing a t bolt clamp on that other end of that 90!

JWillis72 10-15-2015 02:24 PM

Thank you for catching that!

I didn't realize it was going to be that loud, I will run a hose just in case!

I found out level 10 now makes a 1000whp kit that shifts even faster, spent $1000 more than I planned.

That is going to be crazy man. I know the 700whp shifts way faster than stock so I can't even imagine the 1000whp kit!

JWillis72 10-16-2015 12:47 PM

Did you change out your flex plate?

StillenZ84 10-16-2015 01:25 PM

No, flex plate is the same. Was told that for a flex plate to fail, most times there are failing parts around it and the upgraded torque converter Level 10 adds will help add stability to the flex plate. Not sure if they swap it out with the 1000whp kit or not

JWillis72 10-16-2015 01:31 PM

No, they don't make one.
