Stillen Air to Air setup

We made progress today but the tuner is at the airport catching a flight home. If all goes well we will try to tune some more power into it tomorrow and get the car back together Wednesday to end this nightmare!

Hey, a full pull!! With decent numbers! Nice! It's looking like a light at the end of the tunnel!

I sure hope so! I hope we have better numbers to show tomorrow but at this point i just want it done! I made a $14,000 payment on the car today, only $3,100 left until it's paid off. I hope when I get it back I fall in love again and wait but I'm going to get my ducks in a row for a new car just in case I still need more power.

Thanks man, it's still rich in the mid range but Seb said he thinks it's a tad lean on the high end, hopefully we will get all that worked out today.

Hes not, I have been sending him logs and want his help but the tuner will not unlock the tune. I ordered a ecutek cable so I may have him retune it at a different shop.

Good deal! Yeah Seb has my 93 tune low 11's at the high end. Yours just seems a tiny bit high. Glad you are seeing light at the end of the tunnel man.

StillenZ84 03-22-2016 02:01 PM

If you need a few of my final logs on 93 to go off of let me know and I can send them to you.

Thank but this tuner doesn't listen to crap I say so it's not going to help.

Why is that? Is he doing it for free? At what point do you have a come to Jesus with the guy and explain that it's your car, it's your money and he can do it the way you tell him or he can be removed from the project?

JWillis72 03-22-2016 03:50 PM

I agree 100%! He's the shop owners friend and not local so I only hear his **** from the shop. He says the tune will be done today and i will never deal with him again, I can't wait for that! My old tuner knows Seb and has a dyno about 1 1/2 hours away so I can retune it there when I get a cable. At this point it's easier to let him get the tune done than towing the car that far.

You need to get a driveable car, and then cut all ties with that shop and tuner. They've turned a moderately difficult project into a major clusterfuck.
