Painted VIS vented cf hood? Yay or Nay?

Deciding if I should purchase a VIS vented CF hood and paint it OEM Blade Silver. It kinda looks like the oem hoods on the the new Vipers IMO. I also want to get rid of all that power robbing heat soak.

Nah. Unfortunately they only make cf. Theres a cheaper extreme dimension look a like but it looks too flat and vertical. Kinda like the TRD 3000GT Supra hood

I like that,that looks pretty sharp!that gap between the hood and bumper though... Is that common with these hoods?

Yes unfortunetly, but its another space to let the heat out!
