Painted VIS vented cf hood? Yay or Nay?

I was going to buy the same hood and paint everything but the vents in brilliant silver. I hate entire body panels that are exposed CF, it looks unpainted like

I hate entire body panels that are exposed CF, it looks unpainted like you got in an accident and never painted the panels. It probably wouldnt be a good idea tho in vegas considering we have torrential downpours in the summer time.
