Did any of you with the CF hoods have any luck with making the washer nozzles work? I saw the one thread where the guy made a plate and riveted

Did any of you with the CF hoods have any luck with making the washer nozzles work? I saw the one thread where the guy made a plate and riveted it on, but was looking to see if there are any other successful ways of getting them to work.
