The Innovate defaults to 7.4 on start up, there's a lose connection, or the sensor is not plugged in. Mine reads 7.4 for a minute or so in the mornings when I first turn the car on.

The factory wideband sensors are not as quick or accurate as aftermarket. If you want to just hook up an OBD on an N/A car then there's really no harm. If going FI, you don't use them.

Yessir. The sensor was not in at the time. The gauge flashes at 7.4 while it warms the sensor up and then it will begin to read once it is ready!
